They're undeniably better than they were this time last year but they're still * *. Something will have to go seriously wrong somewhere for us to lose this.

 

If they had done this in the first place they may have a tiny 'warchest' to take in to next season, as it is they couldn't shake the WATP tag and had to outspend everyone spending £1000's of pounds a week on * to beat plumbers and decorators and now have absolutely * all.

He might not be getting much of a look in, but with Forrester out injured, he'll be eyeing up a starting spot for Sunday now.

 

The quality of their side compared to ours is chalk and cheese. We have players that don't get in our squad who are better than every player at that club . Our bench is miles better than anything they have . We have players on loan who are better than what they have . Biton against Ball is a real eye opener as to the gulf. As long as Broony and Biton are remotely on their game we will absolutely boss the middle of the park. Big Nir thinks and acts alot quicker than they are used to at their level and they wont cope in there. Our attacking threat from the wings ( Tierney and Roberts in-particular ) will cause huge problems for them , as will the pace and runs of the thumb , who will be up against the slowest, clumsiest defence in the land.

The worst thing they could do is to come out and try to attack us - that will play directly into our hands, if the game gets stretched and we have space to attack. If they sit back and try and frustrate us it could be a huff and puff type game ( that we are used to in the SPL).

Get our deliveries spot on and get the right men on the ball we should run out very comfortable winners.

 

They'd give everything to have Carlton Cole up front, I'm pretty certain of that. Not to mention guys like Forrest, Allan, Christie, etc that they'd love to have in their team that aren't starters for us.

 

Its the ref that gives me the fear....trying to keep the lid on it,booking galore....and to keep the score down a few red cards for us....Guaranteed it will all be about the ref after the game

 

Back to the good old days

This match for us will only be lost with bad attitude. There's no question we're better, and we're virtually injury free bar big Jozo. If we turn up ready to * them up and do everything to not get beat (major * ups, * marking from a corner and so on...) then we'll win comfortably. 4-1 Griff (3) & Tierney - their goal a pen.
