John Collins-Players will leave Celtic this summer

I'd keep Mulgrew - need Celtic men at the club that know what it's all about.

Commons deserves more loyalty.

Gordon has been poor this season but would keep him and look to get a really good prospect to fill his boots/ gloves in a year or 2.

Surely that would raise at least £15m to be invested in a quality striker and some other areas?

Definitely get rid of Blackett, Boerrigter, Mulgrew, Ambrose, Forrest, Stokes, Ciftci and Cole.

Beyond me why some people want Commons to leave. He has his faults but he chips in with more than his fair share of goals and assists. 4 goals in 5 games in the EL this season, that's good going.

 

I'd offer him a backseat coaching role after this season to tie in to his remaining year. He's what, 33/34...would you punt Rogic/Christie/Johansen/Allan who are all up and coming or established first teamers at a good age, for an ageing and almost finished Commons? Who'll be lucky to be playing good stuff in a year's time, most probably..

It makes sense that new guy's will come in and the likes of Commons and Mulgrew will have to be happy as backup player's..

 

Exactly, always happens. You'd think folk would be used to it by now. I'd deffo do everything to get Commons on a coaching type role though, invaluable in many ways, has the quality and loves the club, he'd be a brilliant coach here.

 

He's been a great bargain and servant overall. And still has something to offer us on the pitch, but not for long in my eyes..

Whenever he pack's up, it'd be a shame if he isn't around in some capacity for a while. Him and his missus don't strike me as the type of family who'll be rushing away from Glasgow..

 

The phrase has been used much this season but "quantity over quality" certainly applies to our squad.

The sheer amount of midfielders on our payroll is actually nothing short of a joke when you look at the wages we must be forking out for guys that never play, Allan must wonder why he came and when he sees * like Johansen being almost an automatic choice then you wouldn't blame the guy for being disulusioned because I would be as well.

I've no idea who is behind the current recruitment policy and how much of an imput Ronnie has but anything that makes us rely on just Griffiths up front all season and about 100 midfielders rotating on the bench is clearly I'll thought out and not in the teams best interests, without going off topic the scouting is unquestionably been a joke in the last few seasons, the sheer amount of players that have walked through the doors that have turned out to be very quickly substandard and financially a disaster is cause for great concern, Scepovic and Ciftci being the obvious ones that come to mind.

 

You neglected to mention he was "last" seasons POTY, this season he has been * beyond belief unless you think different of course, in which case we had better agree to differ

 

It's not as if he's going to win it again is it?

 

On current form yes he should be. He deserves a chance ahead of a clearly under performing player. A player who has without question failed (by some margin) to come close to that POTY you talk about.

 

Better make room for Izzaguirre and Mulgrew in the starting 11 aswell then. Bye Teirney, Bye Biton , Scottish POTY's comin' through ...
