Not. But the majority of the time they aren't given a chance when they return.

McGregor is the only one I can think of who has came back and played a part. Whether that would have happened if Lennon had stayed I don't know because he was being heavily linked to Wolves.

Can't see him being loaned out. He's exactly the kinda youngster Brendan likes to beef the squad up with..

Other than McGreggor no but traditionally you were sent on loan too late in your development (e.g 21) when you were already deemed not good enough to put you in the shop window rather than as a structured part of an apprenticeship to prepare you for the first team.

    Liam Miller, Liam Henderson?

We've not used the loan market well historically.

Looked like it was working with John Kennedy before the re-occurence of his injury

Noticed his training gear had #35 on it, formerly worn by Stuart Findlay when he made his rare first team app's. Think he was out of contract along with Fisher this summer, so possible that Findlays been released?

Findlay is released, Fisher has one year left.

    Kids gonna be amazing.

He needs a few games/months to settle and gel with the squad of course, but something tells me he is gonna be another wanyama.
Not in style as such, but in the way we was told wanyama needed 6 months to adjust and would be a defender. Turned out he was amazing from day one as a defensive mid.

Your message made it seem as if were mentioning them as poor loan spells seeing as how you referred to the fact of us not using loans historically well. Not meaning to sound cheeky, just the way I read it :50:

He's very tall. Hope he's a good header as he could be deadly at set peices.

He's a great talent, but I don't think he'll make a real impact this season. Hope the boy is given time.

Did a Q&A on the Celtic twitter account an hour ago. Perhaps the 2 most interesting bits are:

Q: How long do you expect to play for Celtic?

A: I want to play for Celtic as long as possible and become a club legend.

    And...

Q: Which player has helped you settle in the most?

A: @eriksviat. He has been giving me a lift to training daily and it also helps that we speak the same language!

I really like him. He can be a brilliant player with the right attitude and game time. I'm with Viking about giving him time though, we cant expect the world from him straight away, we can hope though! :50:

To be fair I haven't seen him play at all yet, just the usual YouTube video's. Ah well, he'll get the usual 20 minutes to make or break it.:icon_mrgreen:
