Throwing millions at the likes of cifti ,bangura, balde ,pukki etc is reckless as * ,appointing a guy who only experience is Norwegian football to manage the club is reckless as * , labelling the people who pay your wages racist is reckless as *.the spin and bullshit coming from the celtic board is fooling nobody. money is being wasted instead of invested in quality players this reckless strategy is driving season ticket holders away

When he says that we won't become reckless, what he actually means is that we won't invest any of the millions we generate in profits into the playing side.

Which most likely means that we won't be qualifying for the Champions League.

Wow, Bankier actually talking about the club for a change. I thought all he did was think about jokes to do with the huns and call us all criminals.

We're not expecting them to be reckless but a bit of ambition would be nice, instead of turning our club into a feeder club for mid table EPL clubs.

I don't agree with you often, but when it comes to the board and how they're running things we're on the same page.

In a way we kinda deserve this because we let them get away with it. The truth is we would have greater profit if we did not sell any players and let them leave on a bosman, if we qualified of course. Qualifying is worth more to us than selling players. In terms of finance it is better for us to keep our best players and build a side rather than sell them. But naw WE WILL BE LIQUIDATED if we spend our own money.

In a strange way, Rangers going down the tubes is possible the best thing that could have happened for our board.

Now they can use them as an excuse and warning anytime anyone asks them why they're not re-investing our profits into the team.

    It's a * farce.

Agreed and it makes me sick that many of us have swallowed this lie en masse.

Just the usual then we will wait to see if we qualify before we spend anything. Investing an extra £5M in the hope of getting a £30M+ reward will not be on the cards.

Just to play devils advocate accounting profit is not the same as taxable profit. There isn't actually an extra 12 million to play with.
