    Agreed.

I would be more optimistic about it if Sevco weren't coming up next year, I think the fall in season ticket would worry them. With them coming up though it won't be an issue.

Totally responsible , we should be light years ahead of the rest with no chance being caught in at least ten years due to the revenues we collected and the strength of the team .

where is the challenge to 10 in a row coming from? yes aberdeen are improving and Hearts are well run and organised. but neither has the resources, support or infrastructure to successful overtake Celtic as the No. 1 football team in Scotland.

We dont need them to be the number one team in Scotland, or to have more fans, better infrastructure etc, they just need to have one outstanding season at the same time we have a * one.

    Like potentially now.

Look at Leicester this season for a team without the fans or infrastructure to be even the number 10 team in england, and they look like winning the league.

Or look at hearts ten years ago, when we were 'richer' along with the supposed 'competition' of rangers, they split the two of us. All it takes is us to have that sort of season that oldco did and hearts to have that good form, just one season and the ten is gone.

We should never be allowing that to become easier for the opponents.

Even if we do manage to get to 10 in a row, on current evidence the only reason we'll make it is because that mob across the water won't be able to get their act together in time to stop it. Is that really how we want to do it?

We should have been so far ahead of them by now it would have taken them 4-5 seasons to even get a whiff of our coat tails. Instead of that they could right up our * within two seasons if they are shrewd in the transfer market.

The board back off when the Huns went down. They have not put n enough to ensure that we would produce a team that would be light years ahead at spl level. Has been doing my nap per in for the past couple of years .

What does peter lawell do to justify a salary that is comparable with any CEO in the English premier league.does he not realize we don't have the same tv money the teams down there and can't afford to pay the same wages as them?

When Newco Come up they will be in a few seasons, to think they will not challenge then you need to take your head out of the sand.

I'm sure they thought the same in the 90's when We where down and out. We are in serious danger of us * it up, should be light years ahead and we are not.

The board are 100 per cent to blame. They hire the cheap option manager coz they know they can tell him, we have very little money, this is what you have to work with. And they know that said manager will work away and not demand anything that a big name manager would. Then, instead of spending a bit of extra money for a better class of player, they buy up what they think are the best players from other teams in the league to basically buy the league. A league, by the way, that is one of the worst in Europe at present. But, win the league, keep the natives happy, and wait for their * buddies from across the city to get a team into the premiership so they can milk the" old firm" rivalry and fleece the poor mugs who support this club of their hard earned money. They dont give a * about Europe (just hope for a few freak results). All they want is to just have a team good enough to win this pish league so they still get their bonuses and if the manager or certain players turn out to be * hot its a bonus for them, literally. People defending the board with the old chestnut "the money isnt there". Bollox. There is enough money there, more than some of the clubs who * us out of Europe have, it just hasnt been invested properly in player and managerial recruitment. And for that alone this board and the men who have control over it should be sacked for mismanagement.

Is ANYBODY actually defending the board? Because I have no doubts about their culpability, and nobody else seems to either. It's possible to spin a positive about the financial side, but nobody's fooled into thinking that this end justifies the means...

Stop it. This sleepwalking thinking will cost us badly. Open your eyes this Deila team is there for the taking. The vulnerabilities are endless. If we keep him this season there is a high chance we will bottle it and we could lose the title as early as May. If we keep him and he pulls it off this season, looking ahead next season and into the future this is not a man to be trusted to safeguard the 10. Please stop working on the basis that the rest of the teams are * and we have to be that bit less *. If we dont fix this problem we will dear buy it.

    Our signing policy needs exposed.

Bitton, Kayal, Gershon, Kazim-Richards and Ambrose sharing an agent is about as unsubtle a sign the Manager has no say in transfers as there could be.

From being linked with quality in Scandanavia to whoever Dudu Dahan had available is a shitehawk move.

I am not patronizing you, honest to *. You were at one time very resistant to this line of thinking if I remember correctly. So i'm glad to see a poster who has a reputation of being a company man i.e. not questioning some of the goings on at our club, starting to ask real questions. I actually find it reassuring.

I question everything mate, don't confuse coming out with different answers from you as being passive.

There were positive rumours in the January window and Sviatchenko looks very much a Deila signing but Kazim-Richards smacks of Dahan having to find a banned Feyenoord player a new Club and going to his go to Club for it.

Perhaps I am confusing you with another poster then.
