Brilliant display, unsure he has the grit to succeed in the SPL though.

No sure how I feel about him. He's quite a nice dribbler and a good finisher when he gets in the box but his crossing isn't great and he's a bit greedy at times(constantly shooting from outside the box). He's a fun player to watch but a wee bit more unselfishness in his game wouldn't go amiss. Lovely goal tonight.

I absolutely love him. What a guy. You could tell Rodgers told him not to take on his man in the second half after they started to attempt to two foot him when he began to take the * after the third went in. Unsurprisingly our whole standard of play dropped second half. That's how good he is.

I actually want him to be more greedy, he can beat guys with ease and should be cutting in and shooting all the time. I think he goes round the outside too much or he passes back into McGregor/Griffiths too much when he is capable of dancing through and skelping a shot atleast 10 times a game.

I thought first half he was constantly linking up, a lot more than he has done in his Celtic career to date. Went outside, cut inside, had loads of options in Griffiths, Dembele, McGregor and Armstrong and scored a great goal.

I think we're just going to have to put up with the times he doesn't beat his man in order to get everything else he does. It is frustrating at times but when he scores worldies it's all good.

Totally disagree. Teams were already cottoning on to him after just a few appearances last season. Cut inside, dribble along the 18 yard line, shoot. Cut inside, dribble along the 18 yard line, shoot. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. To end up with most of his shots were getting blocked or he got the ball taken off him before he could get the shot off. He needs to add a bit more variety to his game.

I liked his goal tonight. Linking up with McGregor, playing a wee one-two into the box and slotting it away. I'd like to see a bit more of that and I would also like to see some improvement in his crossing.

Was the opposite for me, the more he played last season the better he got and the more he was scoring.

Aye, you wonder how far he will go in the game. Reminds you of David Silva or Messi, excellent ball control and dribbling and touch and that but remains to be seen if he could do it against EPL level teams and defences as he is really small and in the EPL would probably be a bit lightweight. Silva can get away with it as his movement and use of the ball is so good.

At 19 i'd say he's on a different level to McGeady or Maloney probably even at their bests but wether he goes on to cut it for England and Man City it will be a big ask.

Rodgers said in the post match interview that Roberts has been working on his pressing and tactics/understanding of the game etc. Good to hear.

If he can improve his ability on his weaker foot it'll take him up another level.
