Wish we could've held onto him but glad to see he's fully recovered and looking good, altho he wasn't tested much today.

Quite * that he got that injury otherwise he'd be in with a good shout of being England's first choice by now. 20 clean sheets in 41 games for Southampton, 18 clean sheets in 34 Premier League games. Some record.

Getting all the plaudits from his boss.

Southampton manager Ronald Koeman: "One point away at Arsenal is a good result. To get a good result you need to be lucky and we had that on our side. We had good defending and great goalkeeper. But we needed to create more.

"He is a fantastic goalkeeper. Sometimes you think you can't score because he is massive. Maybe today was his best performance. We are happy he is the keeper of Southampton."

I genuinely believe he's got the potential to be world class. I can see him at the likes of Man.Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal etc. no problem at all.

There was a poll on here asking if Craig "doesn't command his 6 yard box" Gordon was better :56:

Outwith De Gea and possibly Courtois, he's the best keeper in that league. Yet Joe Hart will start over him at the Euros.

Played phenomenal today, made some cracking saves. For such a big guy he's got some agility about him.

Messi and company spoke of signing him as a Valdes replacement after we beat them in Paradise. Better than Joe Hart, best keeper we've had in my lifetime.

Pretty sure I thought Gordon was better for us at one point last year, must've been sniffing glue

Its a close call between him and Hart for the Euro's but I'd say he's almost a lock to be the top replacement if De Gea does leave ManU this summer.

Gordon was brilliant last season bar the Inter game, probably why I thought the same and many others, but Fraser is the better keeper without a doubt. Except his awful kicking :smiley-laughing002:
