    If Broony's out:

    Gordon

    Lustig Boyata Simunovic Tierney

    Ambrose

    Armstrong Rogic

    Commons_______________Forrest

    Griffiths

Ambrose through extreme reluctance. We can't go into this with just Armstrong and Rogic in the middle, we need three in there. I don't think we have anyone else for that role, have we got a decent youth prospect for defensive midfield? If there's anyone else who can play that role I'd have them in there. Still too early for Mulgrew as well I suppose.

*, I forgot about Bitton being suspended :31:

Brown, Armstrong and Rogic will be the 3 hopefully.

Drop the line back 20 yards. Move Commons into the middle & let Forrest roam where he likes and thats a decent team.

Why the * is Ambrose in anyone's team? If we only had 11 fit players and he was one I still wouldn't play him

Then you would only have Lustig by himself on the right or Tierney by himself on the left depending on where Forrest goes. Would be suicide.

Just need to let Commons roam from the right and let Armstrong support.

Still though, Efe * it up. Naecunt else though.

Doesn't sound too hopeful for Broony.

Deila said yesterday it was just a knock. Everytime he says that our players seem to be out for a lot longer than he thinks!

We are * if that's the case for Europe, without him we have no one I am confident in to play central midfield for Thursday.

2-1 Ajax I reckon. This squad just isn't good enough to advance in Europe.

If Brown is out then will likely be-
    Armstrong Rogic
    Forrest Commons GMS/Ciftci
    Griffiths

Didn't McGregor play once in central midfield this season? As far as I remember he looked good in that position

Yeah he is a CM/CAM, came on a couple of times and done well in there. It's a big risk to put him in against Ajax though. Looks a lot more natural in the middle never was a winger.

The very best we'll get if we play well and they play mince is a draw.

The more I see us in the Europe the more I worry about the scoreline.

Not atall. Im on about a classic diamond with Efe holding, Armstrong covering for the full back on the right, Rogic on the left. Instead of two up top ya have Commons behind Griff and Forrest floating. I think it would be class.

    Ahh, I get you.

Could work but it'd be dodgy to try it out against Ajax. A lot would rely on Forrest making the correct decisions in his movement.
