Absolutely awful tonight. A new low. Can't believe anyone wants him to stay. What possible reason is there to back him?

 

Sums it up for me. We cannot persevere with this experiment.

 

There aren't many out there. I'd get Lennon out of Bolton, personally. He had his flaws, sure, but I think Mowbray and Deila either side of him makes you realise what a good job he did.

I know I can be a stubborn * (very) but its getting hard to back. IF the decision is he stays then he needs to, if he wants, clear out any of the backroom staff he doesn't want and get in his own choices. Although that could just end up being another waste of money. I just cant see us sacking a manager who is going to win the league and is still in 2 cup competitions, what will that say to any future manager. I honestly cant decide.

 

Agreed. Get Lenny back before the next game. Get some passion back in the team. Bring the thunder back again.

The way he sets up our defence sickens me.

 

pains me to say this and ive backed him from day 1, and i honestly believe the guy is doing his best, but he is spl level at best, he has tried his best, but its time to part ways, were do we go after this but we need change.

 

No passion in the team? No tactics that I can see of? I really want him to succeed but it is getting harder to see what his long term vsion is! What about Olly Salsjaer for next mgr?

Think we need to get someone in now so they have time to get a team prepared for next seasons qualifiers, Ronny has had his chances and failed

 

Not good enough for Europe but it seems he has clueless back room staff too. I'd be willing to change his back room team first bring his own in and see how it goes.

 

Where was the learning from the game in Norway?

Commons is never a wide payer in Europe he just doesn't have the legs to get back and cover the fullbacks, hence his poor reaction when we conceded the first. Commons has to play in the middle in Europe all the good work he does is in the middle anyway.

Molde are fast in the break so we play our slowest player out wide to help combat those swift counters.

Armstrong's defensive ability is questionable too. Rogic played well v Aberdeen but should he have started tonight in that pivotal position looked woefully out his depth.

And the unlucky injuries we sustained during the game are no excuse for the complete lack of desire that Ronnys players showed.

Lose 3-1 set up same way again! Repeat..

The only conciliation is that it's happened now and not the CL qualifiers next season.

lets be honest here, the board haved backed ronny from day one, and i dont think they will want to admit defeat, as sad as it is, he gets away with it by winning football games in our own league.

 

I think what we have is a manager who has all the right ideas about how a team should play, but has no idea how to impliment them.

I was with Ronny all the way up until the summer transfer window, When he signed Nadir Ciftci. That signing set alarm bells ringing for me. There are many many players out there within our budget who would improve us massively. I don't trust this guy to be able to identify them.
