1 off games in the cup is result over performance every time.

Depressing is a ridiculous word to use for a supporter of a team in 4 competitions that has just got to a semi final beating our 2nd biggest threat away from home.

We struggled until Rogic came on and we were poor but we won, that is never depressing.

Most players were poor but Johansen was a good few levels even below them.

I don't know how anyone can say it was very poor performance. Hearts sat in the majority of the first half until the last 15 minutes - which was definitely their game plan, and stifled us. The second half Rogic came on and we changed our shape a bit and completely bossed them for the last 35 minutes.

Last goal was annoying as it came from yet another set play. But all in all that was a solid away performance in a cup quarter final. We never looked like losing

I thought Johansen was one of our better players

Och gees peace hammer, that was * chronic.

We need to be doing better than that. Individual brilliance won us that game. The rest was * *.

    It's not good enough.

Don't get the tone of this thread that was as tough a cup tie as we can come up against.

    They were very well organised.

Happy to be through. That's all that matters in cup football.

Johansen was one of our better players tonight, although not great he played in Griff for the opener. Commons, Armstrong and Forrest played worse than him.

Struggling against a defensive minded team away from home in an important game is far from depressing. People are being ridiculous and borderline spoilt if they really feel "depressed".

Griffith ran up to them, slid on his knees and then stood up and gave them a big double thumbs up. It was the last action that got him the yellow imo and it was a deserved booking unfortunately. Do we need reminding what these backwater scum are capable of?
