The boy scores for WBA, runs to his own fans to chants of * the IRA. Not by a small number I may add. If a Muslim player scored and run into chants of Taliban, would the press be all over it. I think so. Is it racist? Can someone post the vid, I can't my iPad doesn't allow me. Cheers.

WBA fans were chanting * the IRA when he was celebrating? Is this cause he refused to sing GSTQ?

Was it not Sunderland fans doing this? Why would his own team fans be giving him abuse for scoring. I'm pretty sure It's Sunderland fans

He was celebrating at FT in front of the Sunderland support, hardly likely to go down well is it :smiley-laughing002: Not sure what is racist either ?

    Load o Sky Pish.

McClean did next to * all yesterday and a lot of Sunderland fans only wish Graham and Cattermole showed as much fight during the game rather than playing to the crowd after putting in another gutless performance.

Sunderland goons were chanting * the I.R.A after the match.

Guess it makes them feel mighty English.

Not sure about yesterday but he has been getting abuse during games this season from West brom fans for not respecting GSTQ.

While playing for Sunderland he was booed by Sunderland fans and given loads of abuse for not wearing a Poppy.

How was the abuse he was getting yesterday not racist ?

The Sunderland fans were abusing him, so he celebrated in front of them when WBA won.

Don't see how any of this is news worthy.

Tim made a pigs ear of the thread. But surely you don't believe the abuse he's recieving is not racist. Firstly he's never came out and said he supports the RA. So guilty by association. Also he's Irish and from Derry. * Sunday is raw for the people who lived it and were brought up there. So if an English player was plying his trade in the Irish Leagues and fans from different clubs decided to sing a song about blowing up the queens guards in Hyde park?:50:

Just as news worthy as black players being vilified in Russia. Show racism the red card?
