Did you watch Hibs last season ? Was head and shoulders above everyone in that league last year .

 

100 % . Posters are spouting alot of defensive/dismissive comments about Allan which are clearly just aimed at hun lurkers on here rather than their actual opinion . Allan is a very good player .

 

Allan is average. We have atleast 4 better players in his position. He was never a real target jst tabloid pish. Time to put this to bed.

He's a good player for the SPL can i see him being a key player for Celtic not he would do well at Aberdeen or Dundee utd, for us no i watched hibs a couple of times to kill time mostly and i didn't know who he was until this summer. There's better than Scott Allan in the Scottish Premiership the media have built him up for some reason and yes i don't rate the guy and i may have chose my words wrongly regarding hendo but i would rather give him a real run in the team before we sign somebody who in my opinion is being incredibly overhyped

 

He's staying at Hibs , lets keep an eye on his performances .

Chris Millar (i think, St Johnstone Player) made a good point on the scoreboard a few nights ago - they had a caller ask whos better McGinn or Allan

Allan is a good player, but hes proving himself in the championship, McGinn has shown he can handle himself in the Premier League, Allan was at Dundee U and he wasnt a bad player, but didnt exactly stand out either

Scott Allan wouldnt make our bench and would be freed in a few years time, if rangers werent in the championship and hibs went down alone, no one would of ever spoken about him, no offence to him just hes Rangers biggest threat so hes been made out to be a massive player

I think he's underrated by by a lot of people on here, but I just don't think he's the type of player we need at the moment. Especially if rogic is getting a look in.

If we sign Allan but don't bring in a LB and a striker it will have ended up being an average transfer window despite the early promise

 

Best place he'd get is place on bench so wasted 300k and salary each week - no no no. Close this mad idea down and let him go to inferior team please!

As I've said before, offer double sevcos top bid (for every fiver...) and loan him back to Hibs for the season.
After that, unless he's really gonna be a player for us, punt him, or loan him to sevcos biggest rivals of next season! :icon_mrgreen:
