1st clean sheet for yonks and you'd get him tae *? Give the guy a chance. Good form has to start somewhere and if Bobo goes on to be the mainstay in our defence then I want you to eat some humble pie mate. Christ! Even Mick looked better with Bobo there. I know we need new blood but we still need experienced pros in the team as well. The LB position is a priority for new blood and if we get a good CB who can make the current CBs work harder to keep their places then that's good too. But don't just slate a guy who has patiently waited for his chance to show people he can still do the biz.

I take it that you are totally satisfied with the several CB partnerships that have been tried and failed to keep a clean sheet in well over a year?
You also say we need new blood in the defence,who disagrees with that?
The people responsible for not addressing this are,WGS and the board,not Bobo.

I can't believe people on here want Balde in the side. He only looked good at Tannadice because we hadn't seen him for a while. When we all get used to seeing him again he'll go back to being * again. WGS should know better than to pick a guy who scares the * out of the opposition's strikers. He should be used only a doorman at Celtic functions as if someone's name wasn't down they wouldn't get past Bobo.
And as far as us keeping a clean sheet. Who needs it? As long as there's goals it makes for a better game.
And while we're at it. All this talk about McDonald being so good. I think we should drop him for the Hun game as he's too wee and makes us look like a team of schoolkids.
Maybe we could put Bobo up front so that McGregor * his pants and lets in a few goals.

Hartley should not be allowed to play unless he shaves that silly beard off. It must be upsetting to some of the younger players who are trying to get into the team.

McGeady is another player I would leave out. You don't know if he's blond or brown or what. Dying his hair all the time. Get him tae *!

Now nobody has touched on Jarosik for a while. He's another on who is totally crap. I mean, he can play in the left sided midfield role okay, but he's * in the nets at practice and we all know how we need players to be versatile these days. I mean what if Artur moves on.
And I wish Boruc would stop blessing himself at every game. He is making us lapsed Catholics feel very uncomfortable.
Lets just get rid of him.

No I woldnt have refused. But thats because I am a celtic fan (Balde more than probably isnt). Altough I would have felt alot of presure to perform because of the length of time out along with the jibes from all sectors. This would of made me doubt if I was upto it.

 

We had two players who did this.Marc viduka through his boots at Barnes at half time and refused to play a few months l8ter he worked his ticket and left for leeds.Also Jorge caddete went on strike til he got his move.

Also big pierre refused to play for Nottingham forrest until he got his move.

I know that you have asked for players that have been benched and refused to play for the club again I cant give you an example in brittish fooball but above are examples of unprofesionalism just from players that played for our club. Maybe you understand were Iam coming from when I praise Bobos profesionalism to be ready.As I am sure their would be many who wouldnt have been if they were put in his position for the past year or so.

Also I live in spain and it has hepend here on a few ocasions with two players in recent times. Once with Denilson at real betis he refused to play after he had been substituted one to many times and eventualy left for an undisclosed fee to boudaux. Also Javier Saviola had been sent out on loan from Barca for a few seasons. And when asked to return this season he refused and got his move.

The Hun Cousin was benched alnd refused to play for lens as he was ridiculed by some sections of their fans and also by the media till he got his his move in the summer.

but the way he has to see it - if he wants to leave he has to prove hes good enough for the likes of sunderland etc, wether or not his heart is still in celtic so its in his own best intrests to put in a shift

 

Sure. Altough I am not sure he has ever stated that he wanted to leave the club. I think he was being pushed to leave.

BUT before we signed him on silly money he was looking for other teams, and a year into his contract, maybe 6months not sure- he had a clause that he could join anyother team and in that time on a free and he was looking for a club then too, and at this time he was getting a game. i think thats maybe why some people dont like bobo, you dont know were his loyalties lay

i love the big guy, a think he does his job well, but he couldn't be trusted to be there full time with him always looking at the door
