When Forrest got on the end of Griffiths pass, his pace and direct sprint through 3 defenders from the half way line, his ball control was sensational, it was like the ball was glued to his boot.

Amazing turn around for the kid. His face after he scored was cheesing, Christmas, first * kinda all rolled into 1. In that moment yesterday, we loved him again, and he knew it. His attitude is one of "I am going to run riot and enjoy my football'

    DELIGHTED

The World is his to own now, he loves us, the club. I think Rodgers just reminded him 'Leaving Celtic is a backwards step to nowhere', looks like the lad has taken it all on board.
He has won us back, earned a 3 year deal, he wanted to stay

Tons of examples of HUGE changes already. When Dumbelle scored the winning penalty late on against Astana, all the players ran to him, full time, Brown pushed him towards the green brigade section after full time, while laughing, great touch....WE HAVE A TEAM NOW, the fear is gone or going. Brilliant to witness these players enjoying playing. Last season injured players playing all over the park, fearful, fans panicking...what a turn-around in a few months. TEAM ETHICS are Rodgers starting point, he doesn't want ego nor players, signed by Ronny, through no fault of themselves just not having the class to play at Celtic level, and player like Forrest who are now better, added to who has came in. Ajar is getting rave reviews in development squad as well

    Tuesday will go 2 ways.
    1. We score early or first, game over.
    2. They score early...
But if they get 2 early goals I trust this team to get over the line.
Trust can take a season...it's been weeks, and look!!!

    Just cant get enough
Great to see him doing well this season but it does raise the question- why hasn't he been putting this effort in until now? Obviously not interested under Ronny.

Why is one of the sky sports news rockets calling Forrest our last seasons top scorer? :97:

Their coverage of Scotland is shocking.

We can and we should. There's an appeals process for wrongful bookings for diving.

Some people just seem to totally disregard form, mind boggling.

I don't disregard his form, but I will not be happy if he keeps Roberts out the team when the wee man regains his fitness.

lets delight in the fact we 2 good players in that area and the manager has a hard job to pick one , the fact we are even compairing them when one is a 12 mill m c player and the other is our own from our academy shows sometimes we cant see the wood for the trees .

Transformation in Forrest has been incredible under Rodgers.
I didn't think he had it in him. For me he is a must pick now.
Memo to self. Never write anyone off.

No let's not, one had a stinking attitude and wanted to leave the club not long ago. Have you forgotten his totally inept away performance against Inter a couple years ago? Will never forget such a shocking display where he showed zero interest or effort in that match.

It's good he's doing better now under a new gaffer, but the minute Roberts is fit it shouldn't even be a hard decision for Brendan.

If he goes with Forrest over Roberts on the right wing when both are fit then that is to the detriment of the team. The same way going for O'Connell over Erik Sviatchenko when fully fit is also to our detriment, or going with McGregor in the middle over Bitton. You get the picture.

Have you never thought Forrest didn't get a fair crack of the whip under the last management ?
You are beginning to make me hate the sight of Wanyama's face.:55:

he always had it ,injuries have played havock with his head ,he has been holding back for fear of a reacurrence ,now his explosive pace is coming back he is forgetting about the injury and trusts the hamstring again.

I guess you might be right there.
The same way Andy Murray worried about his back going again after his back op.
