He was always capable of this. When hes on top form and flying, he is a defenders worst nightmare.

 

Whenever Roberts is fully fit he comes back in regardless of Forrest's form, Roberts is a far, far superior player.

 

Surely Roberts can play behind Griff ?

 

I'd say with ease..

You could have a frightening front 4 with those 3 interchanging behind and going beyond. Sinclair can play any. Forrest right or left as well..

This has got to be the quickest turn around in opinion of a player since Bobby Petta. He's working hard and deserves his place in the team

 

He will have to play there whilst Forrest is in this form.

Forrest has nailed on the right wing position, Brendan cannot drop him right now it send the wrong message to the individual and to the group.

Right now Roberts coming back will be a problem for rogic not Forrest.

Jamesy's run and goal today was absolutely world class - from griffs amazing pass to the way forrest just ran full pelt at the defeence, tricked the defender and then fooled the keeper with an audacious finish. He knew exactly what he was going to do and executed it to perfection. It was also Forrest run and shot the caused the mayhem for Sinclairs goal too. He is scoring , assisting and working his * off defending. He is now a team player and way too good to be dropped right now

 

TBH I always knew he had the ability jst the injuries and attitude was * him up.

He should be getting double figures and goals and assits every season I dont think sometiing like a 15-20 goal return from him is unreasonable(ambitious maybe)

In this current team the way we are playing so openly and freely we might conced more goals than usual but we look good to score at least 3 a game

 

If he's doin this consistently for 6months I'll agree. For now he's playing well but seen this movie before with oor James.

Definitely. Just holding back on heralding him as he was written off by most of us, not on a whim but over the course of several seasons & several managers. So not goin to relying on him just yet. Only fair I think.

Yes, Roberts is a better right winger, in fact he's FAR better.

Forrest is playing out his skin and is in the best form he has ever been in, to drop him for a guy (I admit he is a better player) who isn't even our player would be daft and probably ruin his confidence.

 

Thats crazy, to drop a guy in that kind of form would be terrible for team morale.

whilst Forrest is in this form it would be better to put roberts in the middle behind griffiths.

a 3 behind griff consisting of Sinclair, Roberts and Forrest is an absolutely terrifying prospect for just about ANY team.

I'd take Rogic out for Roberts, Forrest is the far more effective player right now. I can understand not likng forrest for his previous but to take a weapon out of the team when you can clearly put roberts in for rogic is just crazy.

I severly doubt that Brendan will take a form player out not just a from player but one who has been deadly for us.

Besides Forrest is much better at tracking back and defending than roberts-which is important for a winger and leaves roberts to concentrate on attacking rather than chasing the ball way back down the line.

It makes more sense to drop rogic who isnt the best at tracking back either

 

exactly Roberts will be gone in june, we need Forrest to maintain his level.
