Know what's an absolute slap in the face for him?

He didn't "officially" get either of the 2 assists he made last night, due to the first one coming via Scott Sinclair's boot then their goalkeeper and the second one didn't go down as his assist because Brown pung it off of a defender before putting it in :smiley-laughing002:

    So harsh on wee Jamesy.

Was Griffiths that played Sinclair in the first time, but yeah I think common sense should allow incidents like that to be counted as assists for the players.

Griffths gave the * over the defence for sinclair. Forrest crossed the ball into the box for griffths. So at least he got one assist

Right enough actually :smiley-laughing002: he did get a clean assist for Griffiths first. Don't know why I thought Forrest played the ball for Rogic's!

I was calling for his head last season but * me am I happy to eat my words. It just proves, if it was ever in doubt, the level of impact a manager and their man-management influences a players ability, confidence and propensity.

Don't know if it's Rodgers, a coach or him just being 100% fit but he is playing as best as he ever has.

    Great goal.

As Sutton said "he's like a new signing".

He's a totally different player this season.

Absolutely brilliant. Was one of his big critics how can player be so ineffective for 2 years and then play like that. This gives me hope for some other players in the squad it's got to be the Rodgers effect.

To be fair, he'd always go through these stints of playing good every season then he'd seem to fizzle out but it just feels different this time. When he was playing good in past seasons for short periods it was never this good anyway. Brown, Lustig and Forrest are just as much as new signings as Sinclair and Dembele are. It's just a complete transformation from all 3.

Would be very harsh to drop him for Roberts in all honesty.

It was never with this sort of effort and desire.
