I wouldn't give him a contract, not yet. He's had one alright performance against Astana at home and a good one at Hearts...he needs to prove he can do it consistently.

Lose the hair and the invisible handbag and there might really be a player in there :56: Seriously though he looked a different player the other day so maybe we should all hang fire for a few games and see how he does before wishing him out the door. It just might be that BR gets the best out of him. BR is not a man to mess about and each and every one of that team will know that by now.

Wait another month to see if he can stay consistent.

He goes through these phases all the time though, few decent games, picks up a knock, takes months to come back properly. I genuinely really want him to come good though, his pace suits Rodgers style, him, Sinclair, Griffiths, Dembele and even Roberts on the counter attack will be so dangerous.

If he's still featuring regularly and doing the business come October then the club should definitely consider offering him a deal if Rodgers wants to keep him.

Happy with that. Roberts, Forrest and Sinclair fighting it out for the wing spots.

One less position to worry about.

CELTIC are delighted to announce that James Forrest has signed a new three-year contract, committing himself to the club until 2019.
The winger, who joined the club when he was just nine-years-old, and who has come through the Celtic Youth Academy, has already made 193 appearances, scoring 31 goals.
The latest of those came in the 2-1 victory over Hearts at Tynecastle last weekend, and the Scottish internationalist is in the squad for tonight's game and hoping to hit the target when the Hoops take on Motherwell at Celtic Park in the last 16 of the League Cup.

Happy enough with this. Dangerous player on his day.

I just hope his recent good form wasn't his way of pushing for the new deal.

Good back up for our wingers after all can play left or right. So cover for sinclair and Roberts after all think that be his first choice. Always liked him but all his injury. Hope he can get back to player used to be. Sure rogers get best out of him
