I think it will be 40K, but we'll just wait and see. I really hope there is 45K+ though.

Anything 40k or above will be enough to create an atmosphere and scare the opposition a bit.

I attended a couple of europa league games last season,in the groups and there was roughly 35k there on each occasion and the atmosphere was pretty good.

Can see plenty of fans pitching up on the night with the fact it won't be on tv.

Agreed. It is annoying that the 15k who turn up at the glory games and potentially a further 10k who would attend if the stadium was big enough don't bother with these games though. Time to bring in a loyalty system for non-ST holders that rewards regular attendance.

I can't believe they haven't got this yet, I had a season ticket for 7 years but unfortunately due to work commitments weekend games just don't suit me any more. Last season I attended every European qualifier at home and all of the group stage games at home. I struggled to get tickets for the inter game and had to get them through a friend. I believe that season ticket holders should get offered their seat 1st for every game outside the season ticket but surely if they added an option between season ticket offer and general sale for the group stage package for people who bought tickets for the qualifiers it would increase attendance at the qualifiers.

I was disappointed last year that only the bottom tier was filled for the Europa games. And even then, there were a few empty seats.

We all want the CL nights but if we don't get there, fans can't just turn their back on the club.

If you can afford a 3-match package and turn up to the CL nights then you can do the same for the EL.

I know there was a bit of a protest against the board for failing to get into the CL but we're not Celtic supporters for the board, we're there for the team, no matter what.

Totally agree especially as the Europa nights were actually good nights really enjoyed them although our defence was a bit like hot butter at times if there isn't a near full house for this match it will be disappointing as this is a tough tough test and we really need every seat filled to get us over the line. This will not be easy and the atmosphere and Celtic park could make all the difference.

Ya gloryhunting basturt! :smiley-laughing002: Kidding on.

Yeah, they're missing a trick by not bringing one of these in to reward attendance.

I have pals that had season tickets for years and because we're now not making the last 16 and having as much Euro success as we did under O'Neill & Strachan they say they won't go.

How are we meant to improve and get to that level when people withdraw their financial and vocal support? :31:

Is there anywhere to check how many tickets have been sold?

50k would be more than adequate for a game like this, considering it's not even the final qualifying round.

If we get through, the home game in the next round of qualifying will be a guaranteed sell out. The Karagandy game was electric a couple of years ago.

I think the tickets are over-priced, should have been 15 for adults and 5 for under 13s or whatever.

Make our profit once we actually get to the champions league!

I think we will get around 45k on the night, which is an excellent crowd.

Karagandy game was awesome, nothing beats a last minute winner especially to put us in the Champions League.

    They are over priced.

£22 plus bus through there and back for me is to deer especially as I've just spunked out for a new ST. I've still paid it but that's not the point:56:

If the support really 'drives us on' then give the fans these first two qualifiers on the cheap and get as many folk in as possible. Charge a bit more for the play-off by all means.
