Hope we sell a * load of tickets between now and wednesday, otherwise the attendance isn't looking too good.

What's the attendance looking like so far? Rough number? This sounds gutting

We'll get 40K, as said before if Celtic had actually used their brains then the game should be on the season ticket then we would of been pushing on 50K.

Don't listen to the pessmists. Certainly more tickets sold than unsold so far. I'd say the crowd will be between 45-50k on wednesday, which certainly isn't 'dreadful' as some would leave you to believe.

Some sections are entirely sold out, others have minimal seats left. The fact you can select seats in most sections of the ground is not dreadful at all. Hyperbole of the highest order.

People need to take into account that season ticket seats not bought have been on sale for 14 hours and the game is 53 hours away. I have confidence that the attendance will be good

2 sections sold out, GB 111 and hospitality in North stand. Face it there is no chance of 45K.

What's funny about that? It's being realistic.

Why is there 1 seat available in 419? Bit strange :smiley-laughing002:

What are you basing that claim on? An e-ticketing website with 2 and a half days still to sell + those who'll be buying in person at the ticket office.

If you look historically at our European qualifiers you'll find there's every chance there'll be over 45k on wed. I guess we'll need to wait and see.

I think we might see that next year, but then again, I probably said that last season. The positives are there for all to see:

Will see more attend such a crucial game
Wins back some goodwill from season ticket holders
Help reduce the enormous pressure ticket office staff are under given short notice of the 3QR games
Does away with the need to arrange a stupid home game like Saturdays there

It's lost revenue, but we should be viewing these early QRs as bonus revenue anyway.

It wouldn't be financially viable to give every ST holder a free ticket. Not after staffing, policing, electricity and water bills are paid (and whatever else). However a much reduced fee would be ideal.

Folk talking about the attendance, I had a look on the e-ticketing. THere are a few sections sold out. Most with limited availability. Obviously not counting all but when you go on them its sparce ticketing.

There will be at least 40k there - not bad for a qualifier against Qarabag - that is the same as a few teams have as total capacity. Only we could see 40k+ as poor.
