Aye, he's been at about half a dozen clubs already. Went over to the Netherlands for a while but don't think he did much. Back in the US now.

Think it's their media page. By all accounts, we have bid for him.

Hats off to the club, getting things done snappy. Hopefully last year was a lesson that won't need repeating.

Really? Felt like barely last summer that rumour haha.

Aye, fair few good names getting linked this year.
Although they have a place (and bargains can be found), im glad its not all championship and English based journeymen we are linked with.
Genuinely excited by a lot of the names being linked this year

It's the official twitter page of AS.com's coverage of Colo Colo. That's what got me confused. :smiley-laughing002: A bit like their version of https://twitter.com/dr_celtic

Did little of notice in the Libertadores this year, but of course we shouldn't discard him due to that. Didn't score a single goal and didn't complete the full 90 minutes in any of the four games he played. In the Colo Colo team he is never going to be the main striker with old timer Esteban Paredes taking that role but still, I can't see him scoring a tone of goals giving the chance and his future looks to be more on the wing than coming more central.

The one thing that he did show in the 2 x 0 win against Atlético Mineiro (kind of fluky) was that he won't rush with the ball at his feet. For the second goal in that game he took the ball forward then, looked around for the space, allowing for Jean Beausejour to fly past him to receive a great pass. Just forget that the defending is terrible there :smiley-laughing002:

If we go down this route I think the better options for a quick, creative goalscorer able to play in a few roles could be Federico Santander of Guaraní (or Fernando Fernández for pure outright goal scorer from the same club), Miler Bolaños of Emelec or Erik of Goiás.

    They were. He didn't.

He got games in a number of friendlies against Peru, Haiti, Bolivia, USA etc but only started against Haiti and didn't show enough to get into the Copa América squad.

So many folk on twitter moaning that we are after a striker with 8 goals in 40 games, obviously a winger, we'd never touch a guy with a record like that as an out and out striker.

This is exciting. South American, big south american club in Colo Colo, a country constantly producing talent..can't help but be positive about this link...even if he is pish:56:
