Surely if Scepovic deserves another chance then these two do?

Balde never got a decent run at all under lennon and people are claiming he's pish, Scepovic has been fairly pish in most of his games aswell yet people want to see him stay.

Cut our losses and get rid of both.

Pukki is a passable player but he's not what we need as a striker. As for Balde, his touch is one of the worst I've ever seen from a Celtic player in all honesty.

I think Pukki has said several times he doesn't want to come back here. If he was making noises about being desperate to come back and prove himself, I'd give a chance, but as it is, no.

Balde, no. He has no ability and never looked happy on the pitch.

Balde never a player in a million years and to think people on here were wanting to give him game time before we eventually moved him on - he is gash. As per previous post how we managed to spend money on a dud like that is beyond me. Pukki does not have the aggression needed for the SPFL - move both of them on and quickly.

I like Pukki. I know I am alone with that. I think he has some qualities that Thumb and Scep don't have and he could be quite useful. But right now at best he would sit at the bench. And for him the best would be playing regularly in somewhere Brondby. I think that even thought he could get a place in this squad he would be better off staying in Denmark.

About Balde, he is loaned out to quite small clubs and fail to excel even in those, so, no way.

Thing is, he is right. He is playing at a decent sized club, in the first team and doing well. He knows that Celtic plays only with one lone striker and not just he doesnt suit that but also means that he would need to pass Leigh and Scep in the pecking order.

If Pukki needs to come back I doub't he'd play upfront, he'd be one of the players behind IMO.

    Doubt it'll happen anyway.

Yes, he has said he'll not come. But you never know. However he's settled down now at Brondby and thrives there. The sports director has said they are definitively ready to take Pukki. Brondby and Celtic have agreed on the signing option last year. The only problem is Brondby find the price too high. If they can't agree with Celtic they don't take him. There are no other obstacles than agreeing on the price level.

I know he isn't a good footballer but how many players are there in the same boat as him that have made careers for themselves, with proper coaching and a bit of effort from him he could well become a great sub. How many times have we been a goal down in a game floating balls into the box for midgets with no physical presence ?

It's quite impressive that he's been on the books of Sporting, Celtic and Hapoel Tel Aviv. :smiley-laughing002:

Pukki is never going to be prolific but he will probably do a job for some team, just no us.

    Balde, naw.... just naw.

I don't think either of them are even close to Stokes in terms of ability so I doubt they'll ever be regular starters at Celtic. Good luck to them.

I'm half expecting to hear big Balde is part of a fraudulant football agent racket that has been creating CV's for fake footballers and offering them to top football clubs . Guys really a 33 year old janitor from Gambia.

Pukki not a striker under Ronny, there is a slim chance he could develop in Johansen's role as he has bundles of pace and a good touch.

He would need to overcome lot's to make it here, doesn't seem to have enough about him to do so.

Loan deals then released for both.

    No, they don't.

Don't know if you are trolling or not but Scepovic has scored near enough every time he has started. Balde looked as though he was fresh out his maw's womb anytime he tried to run on the pitch. Not strong or good in the air considering he is 6ft 4 and never going to be a regular goalscorer. 0 in 5 for Hapoel and 1 in 14 for Waasland Breveren (aye, them) prior to that.

Why would we want to waste anymore time on him?

There is a * obsession with loads of fans at the moment desperate to try and defend players and say they deserve chances even when it's clear they are no good. Some times you just need to put your hands up and admit we made a * off blunder by signing someone. There has been alot of those moments recently.

Aye but I don't see that as great motivation to keep him. He isn't even that physical for his size, struggle to remember him winning many headers when he did appear off the bench and he always seemed to give away fouls. Mainly down to the fact he doesn't know how to use his presence to his own advantage.
