Celtic are eyeing up a move for Republic of Ireland international and Derby County midfielder Jeff Hendrick, according to FLW sources.

Haven't seen too much of Derby this year but he seems to be highly rated . I doubt he would come cheap?

 

Was very good last season. Haven't heard much this season about him

Its funny to think about, but that * has actually happened to our last few Irish players.

Seems to be a cracking young player, long term Brown replacement? Then again I'd think Armstrong may still be in line for that, possibly even Henderson. Think wullie may be right, he's Irish so it's putting 2 + 2 together.

 

Hes actually a good player with good potential better than the usual suspects that pop up every window like mcclean and doyle.

 

McClean's not even good enough for Inverness ffs, I'm not having that on my Doyle though.... could easily play for Barcelona :icon_mrgreen:

But yeah what I've seen from Hendrik he does seem to have good potential in him.

 

I haven't seen him play but I know he's highly rated. Where would he fit in with our midfield though we have so many in his position.

I don't rate him, I'd much rather Craig Bryson if we're picking off Derby. Big Tim, was captain, there top goals scorer and assister from central midfield, the season before this, I'm sure..

 

Kevin Doyle is a true gentleman of the sport. Good on the ball too, but he is more of a midfielder than a forward in my opinion. Hardly ever scores anyway.

McDonald at wolves would be a great backup for Brown/Biton, I think. Big and tough, high workrate and one of the best passers of the ball in the league last season. Would probably be expensive, though.

 

He looks pretty good from when I've seen him down at leeds, I would prefer we went in for Will Hughes though he is quality!!

 

An average of 3 in 10. That's very good from midfield, especially in that league, where the centre of the park's full of hammer-throwers.

 

Bryson looked dire when he played for Scotland, not exactly young either i'm sure hes been playing off the bench a lot this season also.
