Have to agree with all the Pierre stuff, was rich for him to talk about the lure of a club the size of Celtic, he could not get out quick enough.

I would imagine he will have Carte Blanche to choose the no7 shirt, should he wish.

I have no doubts he will have the confidence to accept the mantle and challenge of becoming Celtic's new no7, and everything comes with it.

Agreed mate but that's down to Deila to handle, we know what we're signing so theres no excuses there.

I think we're getting really good at handling wantaway players, see Van Dijk.

With any luck, Mr PVH has changed his attitude over the years and regrets his actions.

If he chooses the 7 you've got to admire the balls on him, he'll know it invites nothing but pressure, from a signing that * are already sceptical about.

Even Guidetti balked at it :56:

I'd like him to have it, and Ciftci taking no7.

I hate seeing our first team players wearing daft numbers :56:

I hate seeing players changine their numbers :56:

Loved Hooper 88 and Wanyama 67 though. That was class.

I think he has a confidence and cockiness about him to take on such a mantle.

I also think his cockiness is different from Guidetti's as he thinks he can do anything on the pitch, whereas Guidetti thinks he's *'s gift to the planet earth

Ach call me ol' fashioned lads, but I prefer to see players wearing their shirts tucked in and lb's wearing 3, midfielders wearing 8 etc.

Would Pierre want his player to go down his route, kind of full circle and take 9, as he once wore, ah the numbers game.

Both cocky * though mate, love that kinda attitude. Guidetti said it at that Q&A I was at though, young Swedish striker taking the number 7 at Celtic? That's too much :56:

    Hopefully though, not had a 7 that I've liked in a while. I like Ciftci. He's a * but he's an entertaining *.

Our current captain and my current favourite player headered one of our last captains and my favourite player, so hopefully when we sign this one that trend continues since he booted Broony in the noggin :56:

Guidetti is a *, he will be my next candidate in the ex-Celts you hate thread.

If Deila and co can mould and contain the beast within Ciftci, then we will have a player on our hands.

If they can manage his work rate and effort to the team, they will have done a tremendous job, as he has a tendancy to go missing at key times when the chips are down.
