[No Link] Nadir Ciftci

I don't really give a * about the trampish side to him, if we were offered Saurez for 1.2million we'd take hand and all and he's the biggest tramp of them all. I reckon Ronny would sort him out anyway.

What my biggest concern is that he wouldn't be an improvement on what we already have imo.
We should be aiming for better!

CELTIC will need to pay £2million if they want to sign Nadir Ciftci from Dundee United.

The Parkhead club have made a second bid of around £1m knocked back from the Tannadice outfit and are now considering their next move.

Wigan Athletic are also interested and have made an offer of £1.5m, but it is thought the player himself is keen on a move to Glasgow.

hopefully our next move is to tell them to ram it

When can we get him to sign a pre contract? is it the last 6 months?

As for ciftci, no way are we paying 2 mill, they are taking the * here as I don't think we're far off Wigan's offer whatsoever..

Looks like ciftci is a number 1 target of ours, despite what any of us think of him, we must highly rate him. You also get the impression that he is holding out for us, and with big Pierre as agent, in his ear..

Think we'll sign him, unless United carry on acting up here..

 

If we never stole gms and Armstrong the way we did, and after the way United fans reacted to it, I think he would be a Celtic player all ready, Celtic want him and the player wants to come here, United are just trying to look good in this

 

I think DUTD need to be careful or we will end up getting him for £250k in January. Celtic and Ciftci both seems as though they could wait and I don't imagine Cifcti would have his heart 100% in it if he had to stay for another 6 months.

In a way I can understand but Jackie has said the player will decide. I have a feeling ciftci already has and now they aren't staying true to there word and are being extra difficult..

 

Cifti is in the final year of his contract, if he wasn't he would be a £2-3m player

I think it's interesting that Ciftci is out number 1 target. We must rate him very highly which I'm not all that surprised about.

 

Just been announced on sky sports news. He has turned down a move to Wigan.

 

I like that actually. Whether he signs for us or not, shows he's ambitious. Or Greedy. But I'd like to think the former.
