31 goals and 20 assists in 70 games for United - and no red cards this season.

Like he's not the best in the world, but it just simplifies things for the qualifiers. I think he can score in the qualifiers. The group stage is always gonna depend on the draw, but it's not impossible for him to score if he gets the service and with what i've seen, he fits in perfectly to the system and also had a great understanding with GMS and Armstrong.

He's the sort of player that I think would suit us. Big, physical guy who can hold the ball up well and bring others in to the game. Good on the ball, much like Guidetti, he can do some nice flicks and quick one-twos.

    However, he's a bit of a * and I don't think he's quite good enough.

    Dundee Gazette:

Dundee United could be in for a large summer reformation as Nadir Ciftci and Aidan Connolly are moving close to moves to Celtic.

This comes just 4 months after the Arabs sold Gary McKay-Steven and Stuart Armstrong to the Scottish champions.

Im going out on a limb here and saying Cifti in our system would fit perfectly.

I've swayed my opinon.. Id like to see us sign him to be honest. He's exactly the type of player we need and I reckon we can cool off his temper.

He's a good player, but seems like a bit of a *. Kicking Broony in the head probably wasn't the best idea if he wants to sign for Celtic.

Wouldn't touch him too much baggage and certainly not worth 1.5mil imo.

I doubt that'll be an issue if he does sign.

I know this is quite an easy comparison but he reminds me of a poors mans Diego Costa. But he has decent pace, strength, finishing ability, hold up play, skill, aggression (maybe misplaced but Deila will get that out of him), workrate. These are trates we know he has 100%. Not hoping he has like a Balde, Pukki, Bangura etc etc.

Guaranteed the 1st thing that will happen to him if he comes to Celtic is Broony snapping him in training. Broony holds grudges, doesn't forget things like getting kicked in the face.
