One wèe correction , Dundee Utd were a dirty kicking type of team long before Jackie took over , I remember clearly in "Dougi" time when he the ref told Lennon lies UTD were a dirty crowd of * then and I think that was typical of the way they played then .
I thought it was a pity that , despite the small success they have had in recent years none of their fans could stay to the end and watch their team get their wooden medals .

Jackie has caught the same disease as Sutton it seems.

Great players and servants for the club, but prone to becoming right bitter * once they move on in life. The stats show that we were by far the more deserving of the two teams yesterday.

They made it difficult for us to break them down, just as they did at Tannadice last weekend, but I don't recall them having one real, proper chance to score.

Honestly , Rankin has given the most deluded interview i have heard from a player in a long long time . Paranoid/bitter doesn't even cover it .

"But I also think the pressure that was put on the officials this week with what was said in the press was not merited.

"It was wise on their behalf to put a bit of pressure on them and it obviously worked in their favour because the decisions went their way.

    * it , Lets well and truly hammer them on wednesday , sick of all their excuses.

    I'm not picky.
I really hope we pump these * again on Wednesday. All their hypocrisy is * me off. Rankin has a cheek to say about our player putting pressure on the officials. He seems to have a selective memory because you just have to see the amount of United's players who surrounded the officials last week as well as Sunday.

That * McGowan is one of the biggest moaners in their team. He puts the boot in on our players; he moans at the ref. He collapses and nothing is given; he moans at the ref. We score a goal; he moans at the ref. The guy's a *, along with Paton, Cifcti, and Dow.

As for McNamara, well, I can understand trying to defend the team you manage, but there's defending your players if they done nothing wrong and then just talking utter bollocks. In this case it's definitely him talking bollocks because his teams antics were indefensible.

the only people who put the officials under pressure last week were -

first and foremost, the officials themselves with their absolute * performance (which they were paid handsomely for)

secondly, the tribunal board who made an absolute * of the Cifti decision,

lastly, past performances though i think Madden handled this game very well all things considered and he always looked in full control of the game

For the UTD fans , hope you can keep 11 men on the park so that there is no excuse when you finally get pumped ... maybe not wednesday but i do think it will happen as you were the only team to put 2 goals past us and the players know we should not have lost that game..

Had a look at what some of them were saying about the last couple of games, they all feel pretty hard done by regarding VVD not being suspended, not getting a penalty etc, sort of made me wonder if actually I'm a bit blinded by bias and just don't want to admit that these decisions incorrectly went our way. Then I saw that they all seem to think Virgil deliberately stamped on Dillon to cause the injury at the weekend, and realised that actually, they're just completely delusional.

Noticed it after the QF and the rescinded red cards them calling it the 'Scottish * Association' :smiley-laughing002::smiley-laughing002: they aren't far off delusional huns, well most of them probably were huns up until a few year ago.
