Definitely the Huns, but Inter will be special as well.

Im actually no bothered about the Sevco game at all, im no up nor down about it and it just feels like another game like the game yesterday. Don't know if it'll be different the day before or then on the day but so far I feel nothing special about it. Could be that im certain we're going to win and do it quite easily so it feels more like a game against Hamilton or Partick Thistle than a "big derby".

Hamilton or Partick would put up a better match in terms of footballing capabilities.

Im not, honestly am no more excited about it than a normal run of the mill League game.

Against the old huns, id have been looking forward to it for weeks, worrying about players being fit, wanting players to avoid injury, hoping they got injuries or worrying about what player was going to do well for them. Would also be planning to get a good swally and celebrate the win/go into hiding.

This game ive not bothered my * about anything and im not planning anything on the day. I just expect us to win and go through to the final.

    Answer me these questions then.

Why has there been such a scramble for tickets?

Why did the match thread for this game get made weeks in advance before the game when it doesn't for other games?

Surely the answer to both questions is because there is more interest for this game.

There hasnt really been a mad scramble for tickets, people allocated tickets didnt even take them and they were balloted again.

I actually made this thread, was because there was rumours it was going to be played mid week and they confirmed it was a Sunday.

Looking forward to the atmosphere and the tension in the filth game next weekend, but in footballing terms, Inter is the far more attractive option.

I know mate. I'm pretty much the same. I was just laughing at Gravycannon saying anyone that thinks like this ( more than half of those that have voted) don't know their own minds.

    1. There have been quite a few threads about the Inter game as well since the draw was made.

    2. And this is the bit you really struggle with (bless.) I am not saying some people aren't not bothered about Sundays game. However some of us aren't.

I'm bothered in the sense that it's a League Cup semi-final and pivotal to our hopes of winning the treble. Other than that, I don't give a *. Only blessing is that they're * and it's the easiest draw we could have had.

It's a no win situation on Sunday. We win, it's expected and if we get beat then it's mass hysteria. Apart form a Cup Final place, we don't have much to gain.

Those that will gain are obviously they mugs and the mugs in the SM. This has been the pinnacle of the last few years of constant drivel served up and continual portraying of the myth. Pish like it's just like the old days and even today the best O## F*** games in history. All this because folk are to scared to say "LIQUIDATION".

As for Inter Milan, we have two games in a major European competition with a chance to progress and better ourselves. We will be facing a better opponent, our players will have bigger test. On a personal level, I will be attending the home leg and throughly looking forward to the game. If we win, we get to advance another round and test ourselves again. We attain another scalp and more prestige by beating Inter Milan.

Whether or not you agree with my opinion. Or whether you think I am kidding myself on is up too you.

Personally I'm more interested in looking to future and improve. Not be a part of trying to fulfil another persons history or massage the egos of certain people.
