If we get through, Skenderbeu, Molde or Astana would be ideal. Watched BATE against Dundalk and they were less than impressive too. Wouldn't mind drawing them.

Wouldn't fear any of those unseeded teams.

    I'd like to avoid Partizan.

Maybe BATE too, just because they've been a CL team recently.

:fear: *If we make it through* :fear:

If we go through this is how the teams we could face look in their leagues just now:

BATE Borisov are top of the Belarussian league after 14 games, winning 12 and drawing 2.

Partizan Belgrade are top of the Serbian league after 2 games, winning both with a goal difference of +10.

Molde are sixth in the Norwegian league after 17 games, only winning 7 and drawing 4.

Skenderbeu don't start the Albanian league till the 21st of August.

Astana are third in the Kazakhstani league after 22 games, but are only 1 point off of top which is Kairat the team that Aberdeen are playing in the Europa League. Wee side point; Shakhter Karagandy are third bottom only 1 point away from being dead last.

and if the above teams who are looking favourites don't progress then...

    Steau Bucharest, 3rd after 3 games played - 1 win, 2 draws
Helsinki, 1st after 21 games played - 11 wins, 7 draws, 3 losses (Rovaniemen Palloseura or RoPS, are in 2nd by 2 points with a game in hand)
    Dinamo Zagreb, 3rd after 3 games played - 1 win, 2 draws

then the even less likely to progress...

Videoton, 2nd bottom after 2 games played - 2 losses
Milsami Orhei, start their league on Saturday.

Edit missed out the following game because I had Steau Bucharest being put out by Partizan Belgrade, which would knock APOEL up to Seeded:

FC Midtjylland, top of Danish league after 3 games - 3 wins
APOEL Nicosia, not kicked off their league yet. Only played 3 games in UCL, 2 draws v Vardar and the beat Midtylland in the first league away from home.

Can't get either of those two..

Molde, Astana, skenderbau or bate as a last resort, would all be pretty favourable..

That's the non-champions route. PSV won the Eredivisie and Salzburg won the Austrian league.

If we get through, I'd rather not have the team needing to go to Kazakhstan again, so ideally, Molde or Skenderbeu for me...

Ideally Molde or Astana... I'd like to think we could go back to Kazakhstan and rectify ourselves

Molde would be a dream if we get through. Would be wary of all the others for various reasons.

Going to Kazakhstan is always dodgy as *, for that reason alone I'd like to avoid Astana. Skenderbeu would be favourable though.

Molde, Skenderbeu and BATE are nothing to be feared.

I'd take Skenderbeu, Astana and BATE over Molde tbh. I think we would beat them and they haven't been all that great this season, but they've got a decent top level.

Edit: Maybe not Astana on second thought. But definitely Skenderbeu and BATE.

ffs this is like listening to England picking their WC finalists every four years
