In previous seasons, signings were left until the 11th hour and so Neil and Ronnie had to desperately try and negotiate the qualifiers with teams full of holes.

I hope that the signing of Boyata indicates that the board realize we need to strengthen our squad well in advance of the Champions League.

I want Dundalk. It would be good for them. Also less traveling for our players. Move it to Landsdown. Tickets for anyman who wants them

Hibernians or the Albanian mob would be ideal. Rack up a cricket score in first leg and take the pressure off

Dundalk are probably the best team we can get if its regionalised. Doing well right now in the league and actually have a couple of half decent players.

Would be moved to the aviva aswell.

And even then our second string would stick 5 or 6 past them if we got into second gear.

Not wanting to sound arrogant or too confident, we should be skelping the teams in rounds 2 and 3, when we drew Legia last season it sent alarm bells ringing with me straight away, we should have enough as I said though now to beat any those teams in the first two rounds.

Regionalised to Northern Europe I think round 2 is so, usual Iceland, Wales, Gibraltar, San Marino, EIRE, Andorra etc

Some dodgy teams in 3rd round but we should still have enough

Fair enough yeah. I just see the 2nd round as a glorified friendly though.
