I am concerned, as are many others. There is a Mowbrayness about all this. I hope im wrong but i can see things getting worse before getting better. I am really worried about the title race this season. Deep down i still think we will win it but i have never been as unsure about a manager in my life.

 

How long have you been supporting Celtic? Interested to know?

As being in Europe after Christmas didn't happen for us for about 20yrs and we were quite often out of contention of every domestic competition by this time in the early 90s.

Since i was a wain. Went to first game when Celtic Park was a building site and get over a couple of times a year since. Although i have not been over this season yet, but i will likely get a Saturday game in at some stage id say. We didnt win the league until i was 10.

Is there anything wrong with wanting Celtic to do their best? I feel that everyone on here wants this despite the difference in opinions. Only some see fit to call others huns or call their credentials into question for demanding better and having a winning mentality.

Selective posting very often chooses to omit that which would weaken a poster's agenda.Some on here fail to recognize or even acknowledge that Lenny's term was only deemed a success, after Anthony Stokes's goals twice rescued Lenny's managerialship from disaster, they don't want to remind you of that fact, because it would shoot down their weak and tenous argument in the first place.

Many of us could well see that Mowbray was on a downwards trajectory even before Christmas. And many of us on here are concerned that Deila could be on the same downwards trajectory as Mowbray in mid January.We are four points adrift of Aberdeen,we have a shocking defence that has at least two if not three bombscares in it, only the terriifc goalkeeping of Gordon has camoflaged that a bit, and our strikers have gone off the boil, and we could be one or two injuries away from further calamity, let's hope Brown and Guidetti are not nobbled now for the big games that are coming up.We have won nothing yet, even though we remain in 4 tourneys.If Deila loses this league it would be unthinkable, and would mean a one way ticket back to Norway for him.

Thats for sure. In case people think i have an agenda against Ronny, i dont. I just dont rate him as a manager. I was dead against us hiring Lenny at he time as i thought he was inexperienced and frankly the cheap option. If we didnt draw that game as you have said he would have been gone, he has even said as much himself.

Now going from not wanting Lenny hired to being his biggest backer just shows you how much he turned it around and done a good job of it. What concerns me and i said it earlier, is that Lenny learned from his mistakes. This guy repeats his. If RD can turn it around then i will be with him all the way, i really will, and i really hope he does because the last thing we need is more instability.

 

Same folk talking utter knobcheese every single day in CC about RD. Exaggeration overload.

We're halfway through the season. Aberdeen have put together, by there standards, an incredible run of results. Embrace the competition *.

We do have some advantage over Aberdeen in the title race.

If we sack Ronny now, we can bring some of the best manager talent in Scotland. A Kenny Shields, A Robbie Nielson.

 

And that is the importance of having a Message Board (MB) where you can give your opinion and debate with other sensible posters on the current state of affairs at the club. It is important that you share your convictions honestly with other Celtic posters on the MB so we can all see the way forward, and not be put off with some trolling pipsqueaks who add nothing constructive or creative to the debate, you know who you are , and who use multiple log ins to the forum to troll people incessantly and back up their warped agendas, just like they also do on Kerrydale .
