Sorry guy's much as I loved big Vic when he was here, he moved on to 'Further' his career. So as an EX player surely this thread will be closed up or moved as Celtic Chat is for current Celtic players & staff?

We are CELTIC and always remember despite the BPL's cash cow funding small clubs like Southampton, Celtic always has been and always will be a Bigger club than them and the like....................

I wonder if Vic has realised that despite all their TV cash, most of the EPL clubs are piddling diddies compared to Celtic ?

So considering how long we've been around and all the players that have played for us, how many started and ended their careers with us? So you must not care about a LOT of people.

BTW should we take the statue of Jinkie down, he left?

Do yah think? For all the players leaving there last summer, I never heard his name. Schneiderlin will probably be next and Clyne.

I don't know how that bloke can be like that.

To me anybody who's played for Celtic is a hero ( miller and miller ) I still get upset thinking about Sammy and paddy leaving

Some folk really do hold a grudge don't they?

Good on Victor for leaving, getting to a club that has developed well and he is doing himself every favour for a bigger move.

He was never going to sign for Man Utd, Chelsea, Madrid etc straight from Celtic, he had to go and prove himself at a lesser club. And that he has done.

Hopefully he makes the next big move and we see him again at Celtic park for a big European night! Just don't play too well in that (currently hypothetical) game.

As for the article, * it, piece of pish journalism to try and sell copies. He isn't down there crying for a return to Celtic, he simply said he enjoyed the Euro nights, misses them (as anyone misses anything they leave behind) and hopes to experience them again with Saints. Good on him.

Your reading comprehension isn't great is it? I'm not talking about how well someone plays, I'm talking about people leaving Celtic.

I'm guessing our other poster may have been taking "service given" to Celtic into his thoughts.

    You and Port.

Yeah yeah i know you were not comparing how well they played or whatever.

Bit daft bringing past legends into it.

Do we all really have to give a * about ex players ?
