Worse fans in world

Who is the worse fans in world for atmosphere etc ?

I hate watching an arsenal game because there fans are there purely just to sit and watch the game in a huge silence lol probably get parped out for farting

Celtic park isn't great either in the spl but the green brigade make the difference for us.

Most German games are a full house full of noise a wish our leagues could be more like them

 

Motherwell and Fir Park by a country mile.

 

St Mirren. Never been but every time it's on the Tv its silence or booing, think it even got described as quieter than a library on the BBC updates today.

 

Arsenal fans are probably the worst for atmosphere about, 60,000 every game yet make less noise than a 1/4 Celtic Park in an October League Cup game against Falkirk.

But overall they are probably some of the better fans about, they get the pish ripped right out them, never really challenge to win anything yet they pay I think the highest prices in the world for games.

Do Arsenal even have any songs? think thats there problem, the only song they sing is that generic chant of "by far the greatest team the world has ever seen" than about 30 teams fans sing or chant "Arsenal".

 

Most of the seria A teams are awful for atmosphere. But most of them are 3 miles away from the pitch.

 

They are also terrible for attendance too, probably one of the worse attendance/population Leagues in Europe.

 

Nah. There are plenty of teams in the epl that can't win the league but have a better atmosphere. The fact they pay more doesn't make them better fans.

 

Kerry fans

 

The fact that they went from regularly challenging for and winning the league to being a bunch of losers so recently must sting though. Most teams like that would see a huge drop in attendance.

Well I'd say Millwall fans are the biggest scum-bags but I'm guessing this is purely an atmosphere point of view. Can't remember Wigan Athletic ever selling out their stadium, then again you could easily just argue their stadium is too big for them.

I'd say Chelsea are up there, they only have one chant and that's their teams name over and over again. Plus they're scum.

 

They dont just pay more but more of them turn up than everyone except 1 other clubs fans.

Nobody ever praises a teams fans for just sticking bye the team.

Look at us, how much our crowds have declined since our status as a good european team slipped or the same in the Italian League, their attendances have collapsed since their League became much poorer.

Arsenal have went from 1st/2nd best team in England, regularly winning with players like Campbell, Cole, Vieira, Pires, Bergkamp and Henry to outsiders with little hope of winning anything but their ticket prices have doubled and even more of them go to games than they used to. Thats good support.

You dont really but its the same differance if its the same or different fans, they are very well supported.

Their fans might not create any atmosphere but atleast they buy tickets and turn up which is more important for the club.

If Celtic had 15,000 more quiet prawn sandwich eating fans turning up for the last 5 years, that'd be the equivalent of about £5.5million extra per year in income which is quite substancial.

 

A bad thing about the Emirates is that it's too fan-friendly, perfect view, no need to stand.

If you do stand at the Emirates chances are you are in a group no more than 5 and you block their view and get told to sit down by stewards.

 

If Celtic played in the EPL we would do that easily.

 

Chelsea or Arsenal

 

Outside of the Bundesliga there are very few big teams with good home atmospheres.

 

Wigan were always and always will be a massive rugby town so an unfair advantage over the football support..
Then take in to account the fact that man united has a massive support from there which kills it also, so for me i feel for clubs like that more than slag them..

Villa are right up there for me, hardly ever sell out despite being the biggest club in the midlands and the second biggest city in Britain, they turn very quickly in my opinion also when not going there way..
Man city are another i just can't take too, hardly ever sell out and was spare seats at home to an outstanding bayern team with a chance of qualifying still, what's that all about?
Swear they were doing 2 for 1 against cska and it was still dead, pathetic , they have fuckall atmosphere anoll ..
