* joke . We will be the big bad wolf of football come sunday night . Shouldn't have to do a minutes silence for an army that has murdered children in cold blood in derry , as well as persecuting and attacking catholics in northern ireland over a 25 year period. There will be Celtic fans directly effected in attendance on sunday , the authorities should use their noggin and not expect a club steeped in irish tradition and heritage to respect the british army .

Why must we be forced into this? If you want to pay your respects to those who died in conflict then props to you, but don't make it mandatory, particularly when many in our fanbase either have been or know someone who has been affected by the brutality of some of those who we're remembering. It's absolutely right that we should pay tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice to fight fascism in WWII, but I for one do not believe that putting on a military uniform automatically makes you a hero, particularly not when you're being dispatched to the middle east to fight as an aggressor in an illegal oil war.
