Haven't had my season ticket for last two seasons due to working away and wouldn't dream of trying to get a ticket for the Rangers game.

That said I would like to go back one day when my work circumstances change. Let's hope the people I sit next to are not as judgemental as some on here.

I'll soak up the atmosphere in a decent tim pub before and after but I won't go to the game.

It's a bit of a red herring really, Only season ticket books will get a sniff of these briefs, much as I agree that these folk who think it's beneath them to watch Hamilton or Killie at Parkhead are annoying at times like this but bar a miracle they won't be ending up with tickets.

The only exception being the corporate hospitality etc, posh seats with meals which will be jumped on by the exact types that are being lamented here.

Ironic that myself and a few others have put up tickets free on here this season with no takers.....if anyone wants to return the favour for a Hampden ticket feel free to PM me and the other guys :smiley-laughing002:

First old firm I went to was the last ever againsy deadco when we won 3-0 really wanted to keep it that way. Can't resist not trying to go though, tickets will be like gold dust. So I doubt many glory hunters will get tickets, we will get what 25K tickets majority will be season ticket holders which is good :50:

I don't go to cup games or away games, so it doesn't bother me when i don't get a ticket for these cup games. Just hate when you see people that don't go to games atall & they get a ticket from somewhere

I must be getting old but I hate * going to Hampden its a pish stadium and pish to get to..

I think it stems from having a season ticket when we played there for a season..

I must admit I'm looking forward to playing them again and the players will be buzzing for it..The likes of Guidetti will experience the game and with Sevco probably returning next season, it's a selling point for us to tempt him to sign a pernament deal..

Really pumping them would be very sweet, I want to see a big gulf between us..:shamrock:

    I've noticed it.

I've supported Celtic less than a year and have been to more games than some of the lifelong 'supporters' that are stating on social media about how they're "definitely going to this".

Haven't been over since the cliftonville game and I'll tell you this, if I get a ticket, I'll be there and not give a * about what people think about me being a glory hunter. I've spent 10s of thousands following Celtic, traveling over to Glasgow and Europe thou I'm finding it real difficult to spend lots of money to go watch the pish we've been playing this year. I've a large family now, house, car, bills etc.. So I'll be just picking and choosing my games and if I get a ticket for this one, I'll be selling the wife to get to it.

Yeah I've noticed since Rangers have gone to many of my mates have fallen out of love with Celtic and Scottish football in general, asking me what the score was the next day etc. These are people who were supposedly Celtic through and through. It'll be interesting to see what they'll be like when we pump Rangers :D

I'm not sure what the big surprise is here. A fixture against Rangers, now Sevco, will always lead to a surge in interest amongst Celtic fans. If you look back to the 1980's Celtic were averaging crowds of around 30,000 but when Rangers visited Parkhead the place was a 63,000 sellout(in reality there was probably even more than 63,000 inside the stadium for some games). So this is not a new phenomenon.

Personally I won't be looking for a ticket for the match against Sevco. I didn't want this tie so I'm not going to be a hypocrite and take a ticket away from one of the Tims who has been desperate for this fixture to happen. Glasgow will also be like a warzone after this game. No thanks.

That's * all to do with falling out of love with Celtic. I too haven't been so quick to get the score like previous years because I know, come end may we'll be champs! In previous years I always wanted to find score quickly to see how we got on and next score I looked for was the huns because I knew they where the only team that was in real competition with us for the league. Now, I'm not so much in a rush. Does that mean I've fell out of love with Celtic, no chance. It just means there's that eagerness without them *. Me, I can't wait for them to get back, oldco, newco they are all the same to me and I can't wait for that rivalry to be back in my life and the eagerness back to make this * league abit interesting again.
