On the side probably can't imagine him leaving Donegal just for a chance to work on Sky I wouldn't even say the people on Sky would get as much as the people on RTE

    I think he's leaving.

Seen on SSN earlier them talking about it, him and some GAA old great defender or something are joining the TV coverage, they had two GAA guys on possibly guys who do the coverage the now and one of them mentioned it was a big thing to get him away from Celtic.

His missus and the wains stayed in Glenties as far as i know. I think she has a big job lawyer maybe? He is on 150k with us maybe sky matched his salary meaning he would be able to live at home and travel to the pale for his work. Still i will be gutted to lose him twice. We will be far worse off with him not at the club.

I was on about the fact championship runs through the summer the season doesn't. All games are at the weekend aswell so it wont affect him much.

    he can do both.

Sad times for the GAA. Not every county has money provided by a foreign bank. Men starting to get priced out of the game. This sky deal will destroy the game just like it did to football. All endorsements should be banned and only RTE allowed to show the games.

Agree 100% :50: football isn't even a sport anymore it's just a product the life has long been sucked out if it Hopefully SKY * off as soon as the deal is over

Yeah it really is on a road to ruin. When money is involved the * status is bound to be eroded in the short/medium term and gone completely in the long term. The sponsorship that Dublin have has put the game in murky waters also. Enjoy it while it lasts as the game will be sold down the river for money in years to come, infact this process is already underway.

Where are you guys getting the idea that he is leaving? I'm sure he can do both at the same time. Sky will be doing most of the GAA coverage over the summer months, ie. when we're not playing.

No comparison between managing a team and doing a little punditry. Its not like he wil have to take training sessions with sky.
