The potential list of candidates to replace him is really inspiring :97::56: Not willing to give Ronny time but would happily bring in Tony Pulis, this * place.

You got what I meant. This obsession with possession percentages is something quite recent. It adds up to this that recently, several teams (perhaps even Lennon's side two years ago) showed how to beat it and the pure tiki taka Ronny wants to implement is something obsolete, hence the drubbings Spain got in the world cup. While keeping 4231 Germany plays in a much more objective way.

Yes, go a few pages behind and there are people saying exactly that. I don't like quoting as it might sound provocative to them. Check it yourself.

Well, this is precisely the reason why I wouldn't sack him tomorrow. I lost my faith in him, completely. But keeping him for a few months more would be enough to give him a chance and meanwhile research for good alternatives. Remember that when Lennon left Deila wasn't the first thing that came to everybody's minds. In scandinavian football alone I can think of 3 names at least that would be more experienced and promising than him (though not necessarily willing to join Celtic) at this point.

Correct,he only seen videos,Gordan was training with us before he and Ronny signed,as for Jason,I said I'd leave that to you to prove to me that Ronny scouted him.

Ok,I'll make it easy for you,Ronny was appointed in June Jason joined in August, how could Ronny scout an 18 year old Man C. player when the season hadn't started, did he go to Man C training sessions, did someone else do the scouting
and Ronny was shown videos, get the picture.

Do you also think that Ronny asked for John Collins?

Tony Pulis is a superb man manager. You boys know very little about the game. He dragged Crystal Palace from the bottom of the EPL to comfortable sit mid table last season. Ask Joe Ledley what he thinks about Pulis. He cannot speak more highly of Pulis

He's a good manger no doubt but it's not enough to just win games at celtic playin * football and the way he deals with transfers wouldn't be suitable for us I'd much rather use the academy more meself also was he not ment to get the carrdif job soon

So will Russell be a failure just because he isn't a well known name so much for we don't buy legends we make them

Yeah, 'cause Henrik's management career has been great so far. Is it the 3rd tier of Swedish football he manages in?

I reckon Hartley is a good shout for the next Celtic manager if the Deila experiment fails. He ticks a lot of the right boxes.

    - Die hard Celt
    - Not failed anywhere as a manager yet
    - Knows the Scottish game inside out
    - Played for Celtic fairly recently, knows the script with regards to budget and expectations
    - Played in a highly successful Celtic side (Last 16)

Right now I can picture Deila, Clark, Coyle etc. losing to a more Scottish Football-savvy Rangers side in a couple of years. I can't see Hartley losing to them.

Some suggest Deila will turn us into a European side where managers like Lennon and Hartley wouldn't. For me, that's nonsense. Last 16 is our limit folks. Any further than that will largely be down to luck. Deila won't win us the Champions League by playing *-to-watch formations domestically.

Europa League? Lennon could've took us far if we'd have came third in that group.

I wouldn't bring in Pulis either. I would say he's the guy that gets you away from the EPL relegation zone. It's just a different type of job up here but I understand why people want him.

Hartley would be a like for like replacement to Lennon, but with the drive, hunger and ambition Lennon showed in the 'bring back the thunder' days.

I'd rather have Jackie Mac than Hartley. Tbf those are the only two I'd want to manage here out of those who would be in our budget.

He is a manager for the smallest club in the last 50 years in the swedish premier league. And its quite sensational what he have done for them.

Not many on here will convince me that Ronny can go forward against the thinking and wishes of John Collins and Scott Brown. He must have them on board because i cannot believe his willpower is more than theirs, individually or together.

This is not all Ronny though. It is a team game and for whatever reason we are not clicking it is not all down to him. The players could just ignore him when they cross the line. We just don't keep the ball well, too many passes going astray. I have not heard a single player dissent from his ideals and vision so the problem lies somewhere else

I don't have any answers .. just surprised at how poor our performances are. Will give him until Jan.. and only top spot with improved performance will satisfy me

Here's what I think is happening. Ronny has very good intentions and is very much wanting to change the football we play. However the players themselves I don't think want to play for him and that they don't seem to want to follow his changes. To put it simply he's most likely lost the respect of the players.
