It wouldn't be an issue playing one striker of our two wide players supported him..

It is an issue, the majority of fans want to see a partnership formed up top because so far this season 1 up top isn't working and I don't like to see either of Guidetti or Scepovic on the bench I want to see both start together.

Also, to be frank, playing 1 striker up front domestically and 2 holding midfielders is just embarassing and way too negative imo, no need for it with our budget and finance and our supposed to be superior players. I'm all for it in Europe, no problems with it, but it has to stop domestically for me.

If it doesn't then I want him out because it's football I'm not enjoying watching.

If the lone striker was given adequate support from the rest of the squad then it wouldn't be an issue. Period.

We have McGregor and Commons that would rather try and score a wondergoal than look for a pass. It's infuriating.

I don't want to see either of Guidetti or Scepovic on the bench, they were both signed to play because Stokes is useless and Ronny doesn't rate Griffiths. So both should be playing and by playing 1 up front restricts his choice leaving one of them on the bench which I'm sick of seeing. It's just too predictable and in the end may cost him his job.

    I disagree with that.

All through the Motherwell game McGregor had various opertunities to pull the trigger but kept passing to Bitton who passed to Izaguire, who passed to Bitton... Who passed to McGregor.

We need guys to have a shot every now and then because the goalies are rank and anything can happen.

My major qualms is that Commons keeps taking freekicks when he struggles with a dead ball, this is costing us a lot of opportunities to score. It should be Virgil ahead of everyone else.

I can't comment on sunday mate, I didn't see the game.. Only one i've missed so far this season.

It's all well and good hitting shots from reasonable distances, But when only 10% are on target that's when you've got to say well wait a minute here..

We could be playing two upfront at the moment and be doing worse.. It's more our defense that costing us than our attackers to be honest. Look at vast majority of our goals conceded, They've been defensive lapses.

I get that but the current set-up he has us playing is disgusting. Firing from range is honestly the only way I see us scoring nowadays because of the pish tactics, full back defenders not doing the simple things right, sidwards passing, no-one making runs, I could go on all day but I have to get to Paradise for 7 today :smiley-laughing002:

Thing is though if we were playing 2 up front it forces the midfield to be more active. Brown, McGregor, Wakattack and Johansen can run marathons man we should be making them work hard every game and piling pressure up top and getting the ball into a strikers feet so they can score but we just sidwards pass all game. Better to have 80% possetion than the 3 points/win in Ronny's book.

I'll be honest, i can't EVER remember a time when our striker/s have been so isolated domestically as they are now, it's a worry that one of our wingers have to go it alone to get our shape up the park and when that doesn't work we go hoofing 50 yard balls to some * up top who can't header and the opposition take control again..
Not good enough domestically and especially not at Celtic park..

Not just forces the midfield but worries the other lots defence, it's too easy to play against at the.minute and teams now are more often in a 4 playing around our 1 man up top and then johansen for example will break position and close the space only to.be by passed and we're left with a big hole in the middle with 1 of our centre mids trying to get to.grips with 3..
We have no direct pace outwith wakaso it looks so teams are not worried about facing to.goal, it's only easy facing the way there playing..

I'm baffled as to how we look so short up top, We play with four attacking players. Striker, Left Wing, Right Wing and an attacking midfielder.. Yet no * is ever in the box.. I don't understand it.

The first few games it looked like it was working, We had Stokes, Mcgregor and Berget all getting into the box and looking to score. Now everyone sits around the touchline or the edge of the box.. overplaying and really doing * all.
