Im telling all ye ronnie lovers who are waiting on this high paced attacking football that if it hasnt happened by now its not going to. Hes been the manager 3 months now I think and still no sign of any of his promises. He has sold us a load of * just some are quicker to smell it than others.

Ah the usual ronnie delia faithful through and through reaction. If it's not licking his * the opinion is bullshit.

Many Celtic managers have improved after an initial dodgy few months. Progress doesn't always happen over night.

Transitional periods happen at every club. Sacking managers and rebuilding every 6 months achieves nothing in the long term.

 

why? so that players can get confused between two different set ups? because 4-4-2 is useless in europe

i must admit im not a fan of 4 4 2 and always wanted celtic to go the more european way, but it just doesnt look we have the players to do it, when we play with the two wide men high up, it leaves izzy and recently ambrose far to exsposed. and its no as if we look really good going the other way, apart from untited at home

 

Telling you, the diamonds the way to go if we want 2 up top.

 

But then our wingers would have to drop a bit deeper and be prepared to defend a bit more, which I don't think any of them are great at.

The other thing is that it would mean that there is one solitary defensive midfielder sitting in front of the back four, which should be Brown but I can't see Deila leaving Johansen out of the team on a regular basis.

I still reckon something like this is our best formation:

You need three men in the middle to compete for possession these days. 4-4-2 leaves you too exposed.

 

anybody know what happened to Darnel Fisher?, I reckon he should play ahead of Ambrose for this game.
