FM 2008 HAS LANDED!!!

  1. How all my fellow Celtic managers preforming? :icon_mrgreen:

    After loosing allmy pre-season friendlies I'm still unbeaten in competative matches,won 3 CL games, drew 3, so in the last 16, play Rome.

    In the league, about 19 points clear and its only January. :icon_mrgreen:

    Skippy and JVOH started banging in the goals every game, then both got injured :54: but still doing alright, but refuse to play Killen lol

  4. My Celtic game has been too easy. I finished 4 years, won the SPL and the cup in all 4, League cup in 3, UEFA cup in my first year and the CL in my last. Not only that, Celtic is now one of the richest teams in the world. :icon_mrgreen:
    Noted signings have been Modric, Rakitic, Banega, Breno and Dani Carvalho (for 1.3m, incredible player), other signings have been cheap youngsters usually, scouting did the trick.
    At the start of my fifth year the fixtures didn't load, so I installed the patch and now some of my players dislike one player out of nowhere. :rolleyes: Now I find it hard to get back to that game.

  7. just started playin this ..played previous game and its still the same annoyin * at times and top of league beatin team no probs strikers on fire and a match * up the other manger slags u off / u respond and all of a sudden your strikers are hitting everything but the back off the net the last game there dunde utd had like 1 shot at goal i had * knows how many and i cant score and we draw ... total bullshit

    You're bound to have an off day sooner or later mate. You'd be complaining if you went the season unbeaten and now youre complaining your strikers went a game without scoring. Just can't win..:87:

    I started a new season with Liverpool and the next season was fine! Its just in Scotland the league games vanish... which is really peeing me off!

  18. A question about the season budget: should I spend the whole thing before the end of the season or is there quite simply some funds ADDED to it in the next one?

  19. Depends how stingy the board are becoming. Keep good finances (low wage budget etc compared to your allocated allowance etc) and you might find yourself getting given more £££ next season. However, I've been in games with other clubs where I've sold 2 or 3 players and I've had about £25million @ the end of the season only to see the board have knicked it and given me £13million.:54:

  20. * me man, the board gave me 20mil to spend, only bought Fabio Aurelio (3M) and sold Deeks (1.6M) but don't know how to spend the money otherwise! My bids are usually refused or players think that going to Celtic would be a set-back to their career:38:

    Any suggestions? Summer's over and I want to splash that cash in January/June!
