Celtic vs Motherwell (Sunday 21st Sep, 3pm)

yeah, this 1 up front in the Scottish League is * pointless and reduces our chances of scoring. I realise Stokes and Guidetti are playing but they are not playing upfront as a partnership. Guidetti seems to be the main striker and Stokes is * about out wide no where near Guidetti.

I dont blame Stokes its obviously what hes been told to do....the manager has hung both Stokes and Griffiths out to dry by playing them out of position...which make them look like poor players. They arent poor players they are just being played out of position. * off with it.

 

It's sad how far we've fallen. Can barely string a few passes together.

Stokes should be playing for Motherwell, not Celtic. McGregor should be a sub but it shows how * we are when he has been one of our best players this season. Tonev looks pish. Guidetti is the only one that looks like he has quality in attack but he's barely been involved.

We're * shocking.

 

Commons and brown look likely to start second half

Both warmed up and are back down the tunnel kitted up.

The usual these days, lots of empty spots particularly the LL lower, whatever attendance they announce will have no connection with arses on seats

 

We have no pace or movement up front, the midfield show no desire to get into the box at times, thats the obvious things. But there is much more missing from this team. I should be able to sit down and watch a Celtic team that gives me a buzz, an anticipation that something is going to happen in a game that excites me. But I feel nothing, not just this game but nearly every game. Passion? Desire? fight? Aggression? I dont know but it needs to get sorted as we could loose this league and that is unacceptable

No I thought he's done well, our best player that half.

 

Can't see us winning the league this season if I'm honest. This is the worst celtic side I have ever seen.

 

So poor!formation is * and never works! Scepovic and guidetti upfront in a two please!

 

I thought even a completely unqualified manager with no experience whatsoever could win the league quite comfortably with Celtic. Now I'm not so sure. Our budget is greater than all other SPL clubs put together. Every good team has the odd slip up here and there, but we just look like a * semi-pro club at the moment.

 

Ronny needs to go before it's too late. The team is just as good as last season but while we were planning the UCL group stage campaign now we are no longer certain about the league. He is a total impostor. Simply not good enough for Celtic, it's not the case of him needing "time" as every decision he took so far was wrong. I really can't think of a thing he got right so far, the signings, the tactics, the lineups, nothing.

 

Why the * we playing 1 man upfront, need to change this * formation

Same problems for me as it's been all season. We seem to pour forward in numbers yet there never seems to be more than two people in the box, then when defending the attacking team always seems to have a man over in all sorts of space and we're having to be one on one or even two on one far far more than we should be.

A bit worried I must admit. Huge second half needed.

 

I think someone like Stokes can do a job as a number 10 or a supporting striker but, if Berget is going to be anything, it's as a target man with a striker playing off him. None of the strikers we have are able to play upfront themselves.

 

It's a sad state of affairs to see how * we are nowadays. Can't see us winning the league...
