Honestly, I can't remember a time since I was a young lad watching the 1982/86 World Cups when I've been so excited about Scotland.

All that matters for me right now is that Scotland get to those finals. I'd put that above any other football matters right now.

Fair enough mate I can totally understand that.

But right now I feel like Scotland is a cause, we've got a chance to achieve something special. To qualify out of this group would be the greatest sporting achievement in the countries history IMO.

well you are sad these players love playing for there contry and most of us love to get behind them internationals are a time when all of scotland can get together and forget all the hatred that being a celtic or rangers or whatever fans brings and celebrate i love it alot of my mates are huns and its great to be jumpping about altogether in the pub for a change

If that's aimed at me I will explain, I would rather watch an International game in the Euro Championship or World Cup than Gretna v ICT. Given that International games are few and far between and the finals take place in the close season it isn't much to ask to have our players play. Anyhoo Country first and all that. Unfortunately injuries are part of the game and the clubs and fans have to bite the bullet.

i dont mind being in the minority.... club football is better than international football..... club sides can assemble the best teams due to finance.... take real, barca, man utd, arsenal..... if they were allowed to play their full strength teams they would beat any international side.

sorry but internationals do nothing for me...... i love my country but supporting the football side doesnt play a part in my patriotism.

I would suggest you go to a Euro Championship or world Cup sometime just to experience it - it's brilliant. It's not unlike Seville every day for three weeks. You get the odd * who hates Celtic players now and again but rise above it and thankfully most of those tossers run about in Engerland tops in Glasgow now.
