This is the kind of attitude I just don't get?!

As someone who follows Celtic in Europe home and away, I couldn't give less of a * who we're drawn to face in the CL whether it's a perceived "love in" by some or not. Just happy to be there. Folk

Folk with this attitude of preferring to go somewhere with a bit of "agro" really need to get a grip and stop embarrassing themselves.

I understand totally why people crave spicy heated atmosphere games but wanting to play in a war zone instead of dortmund, i can't understand that one whatsoever..

Youve taken that the complete wrong way shaktar would be a much easier game than dortmund that's why I would want them the quality of the team is that matters decent away days and nice fans doesn't matter to me if we have a better chance of doing well in the competition.

Granted. However, I wouldn't say its folk after a bit of agro.

Its the norm for 90% of European trips for most clubs. Comes with the territory.

We've been getting Barcelona year on year, which is relatively peaceful. However, there has been clashes a few years back. Along with the likes of Milan etc what feels like a hundred times in recent years :smiley-laughing002:. All without incidents.

Once you go outwith the likes of that though, he likes of yer Amsterdams & yer Warsaw's your going to get agro.

    It happens.

    Aaahhhh.

Apologies, mate. I've taken that wrong, totally retract my statement and now agree with you. Although, Shakhtar are a decent team still, good enough to give Dortmund and ourselves a game. But I see where you're coming from which is what I agree with.

True. I get why folk want to go elsewhere, see other places etc. I misunderstood the original post I was replying to and apologise for that. Being a *. I'm very much all for new opposition, new experiences, different lagers and all that.

However there are folk who are out for a bit of "action" who do need to tone it down, if anything, for their own sake. Fuckall to do with me on the day so couldn't care less.

    Stuttgart was class..

My old man said dortmund was probably his best trip and antwerp the other i think..

Really can't beat european away trips, i'm in the new teams/new places camp..

It's almost demoralising seeing the likes of barca pulled out the hat time after time.

    Please *, get there..

    Yeah. Agree.

Same. Love exploring new cities. Personally love the night before the draw, throwing up every potential trip. Love somewhere like Napoli or Rome, not for edgy trip..but love them cities. Along with places like Maribor, where lets face it no one would visit if it wasn't for the football.

Nothing is worse than the sheer of disappointment of Barcelona again. * it, I know it. I'll book it tomorrow :smiley-laughing002:

Will see, if its 'agro' filled, then it happens. If its not, its not. It sure beats Kilmarnock away. :smiley-laughing002:

I like Munich. Never visited Nurnberg, but heard its class.

Dortmund, like Motherwell bout 10 times the size. Only has factories. :smiley-laughing002:

Agreed, the night before the game is class, right good * up in a totally foreign place. Nothing quite like getting public transport in another country and not having a clue where to get off as well! :smiley-laughing002:

    No problem

Yeah there still a good team but having to play in cyprus and most of their first team wanting away would give us a great chance if we were to draw them.
Arsenal, Shaktar and anderlecht is what id take if we beat maribor

Only last night discussing the possibility of getting Liverpool with my Liverpool supporting mate. To quote him 'Id fully expect us to win by atleast 4 at Anfield and also comfortably at Parkhead'

I'd love nothing more than for us to get atleast a point against them and to be able to throw his arrogance back in his face.

That's what I always think. Would love to be absolutely minted and just go to the most obscure away games. I thought the Karagandy game would be class to go to, granted it was held in Astana (I think?)... When the * are you going to go to Kazakhstan like? :smiley-laughing002:

we are no where near ready to beat the english sides. we will be lucky to take points even if we got through and had a weak group. we are work in progress.
