What's with all these guys being listed who're near or past 30? If we do sign a striker, knowing Ronny he'll be under 26 years of age at the very least.

Jelle Vossen is probably the best option for us. He can go for around £5m.

A new top costs about £60 mate, no way can we afford to give away 2m of them!

How is it a dream world? ... Dost only scored 4 goals in 13 games last season.

Guidetti is wasting away in City reserves, * on loan at Stoke, will not make it at City.

Eto'o is on a free, wages would be a stumbling block though.

Sure someone said Soriano is in the last year of his contract, Im sure 5m would be enough to get him in this scenario.

Offer a suggestion and stop criticizing other peoples.

It would be very easy if we were allowed to use hindsight in buying our players. It has been posted to do what we should have done five years ago and sign Fletcher . 5 years ago without the advantage of hind sight Celtic targeted Chad Evans ahead of Fletcher .
Evans turned out to be a super striker , but unfortunately he is currently serving a long prison term

    Henrik Larsson (obvious choice ehh?)

He's out actually. Seems more of a realistic target tbh given how cheap we can be. :smiley-laughing002:

Eto'o won't come turn down the dutch league last week, his going to either Everton,or liverpool again the deadline. its a pity Jame's Vaughan can't stay fit we were in for him a few seasons ago but his to much of a risk.

what about a bid for Joel Cambell from Arsenal on loan, or Patrick Bamford the young chelsea player scored a bag of goals on loan to Derby co, last season. can't see the board spending a lot of cash on a striker.

No chance about Campbell, Arsenal told Galatasaray to * off, when they were planning a £22m double bid for Campbell and Podolski, apparently.

I can't imagine that £3-5 million is within our budget. More like £1-3 million.

    What about Chris Martin?

The Derby player, not the Coldplay singer.

still think Arsenal will buy a striker, they would loan Campbell to us with CL football for Campbell to play in
