Nope.Don't think he's had much time playing since Ronny came in,just a few appearances during pre season.

 

Even players with flaws can perform well in games, if the tactics are set very well. Lenny made Mulgrew look great, by employing tactics that minimised Charlie's weaknesses. Ronny has much to learn from Lenny, in terms of tactics.

 

Here was me thinking the league is in the bag and the focus is on the Maribor game...

It was actually refreshing to see Ronny's main focus was on Maribor and made the changes to ensure we're fresh for Wednesday.

 

We were absolute poison, and deserved all we got. What were all the chances we created?

 

Mulgrew needs to pack his bags & GTF. He frustrates me more than Samaras did, woeful player. Ronny picked a team with players who needed to perform and show their worth to look at future first team appearances. Maybe only Henderson had pass marks for me.

Big sutton wasn't holding back

 

Biton hit the bar, Commons nearly scored but for a great save and Pukki once again got a nosebleed when one on one with the keeper at least once, maybe twice.

Could have easily been 2 or 3 goals at the end of the first half.

 

I have to say once I saw what the starting lineup was yesterday I feared the worst. Although to be fair while we only played in patches we did not deserve to lose the game. Still I think the game clearly did show as others have said that there are a few players in the squad who simply are not even close to pushing for a consistent first team starting spot.

We laboured the whole game mate. It almost looked like we were quite content with a 0-0. Deila played boys that should have been looking to prove a point, it looked the complete opposite in my opinion. As I said, I thought we were absolutely horrible yesterday, and can't really complain with the result.

The only good thing to come out of yesterday, is that I think Deila will have learned that we have certain players who just aren't good enough in my opinion.

Seems like every time I see one of your posts, you're slagging Deila for one thing or another. He put out a team that was capable of beating ICT, the players let him down.

To be fair we had a decent spell at the end of the first half where we were cutting them open at will and as I said but for the bar, a great save and Pukki not being clinical enough we could have put the game out of sight.

Second half was horrible though. I really wasn't expecting much anyway, if we win on Tuesday then this will be a distant memory.

 

Are * actually blaming that result on Deila?

The changes didn't even bother me, it was the performance from the players who were given a chance that annoyed me the most.
