Just watched back that reverse pass from Commons on Wednesday night. Sublime. Hope he can find a way to fit into this system.

 

How the * could a club be too loyal in picking a player for a game .
Surely our Manager has changed , surely no wise person could suggest that anyone other than the manager picks the players , so where does the loyalty come from .

You play players due to ability and form and those two plus Stokes are way, way off form. So should have no place in the team until they work to get back in it again if they do. Would personally try and ship out the three of them, not suited to the type of football Ronny wants to play at all.

 

Can't wait for this match, Saturday can't come quick enough. Got a really good feeling that we'll impress.

Feels like yesterday I was at the Celtic/Dundee United match at the end of last season. Mental how quick time goes in.

At least there won't be the plastic flegs this time. Hated them.

 

Probably reading too much into it, but when Stokes and Commons were replaced against St Johnstone, it seemed like a changing of the guard. The team looked and played differently from then, and it looked as though they were more comfortable in trying to play to Deila's method. It looked more like Deila's team. Interesting to see who starts against United; it'll be a good guide to the Maribor tie.

That's no coincidence at all.

But be prepared to see Commons, Stokes and Mulgrew all in the first team tomorrow making us the slow, turgid team we've been watching the last wee while. They're the problem and Ronny has got to fix it, doubt he will though.

Would love to see VVD in a CDM role, really doubt it though.

 

Stokes to some extent but I 100% agree with you on commons and mulgrew!!! Too slow, both have a bad first touch n don't fit into the attacking game we wanna play... Berget, pukki and mcgregor would all do a better job than commons in cam and anyone in midfield is better than mulgrew imo

 

Aye, I was trying not to read too much into it for that reason, but I do think Berget looks far more suited to the lone striking role. Even after only seeing him for 20mins up top, he looked a better option than anything we currently have in my opinion. We at least have the option of putting in crosses, which is a wasted exercise if we keep the same team that started on Wednesday.

 

Can't wait for this.. To be there to honour Fergus let's make it special for him!

 

i think this is going to one of the most important matches of the season, in the sense that if we win it ,it will really kickstart our season and if not it will really increase the negative feeling on the brutal performances we have seen so far

It's bit disappointing cheapest tickets for this 29 pound. For standard football and no investment in squad all summer. How can board justify expensive entry fee.
