    Swiftly batted away to *.

I would expect, once all this is done and dusted, that the Club will make a STRONG statement about all this.

No bother, let us risk our place in the next round because of their error

Polish journalists suggesting the BBC have * this one through misinterpretation.

    Wholly unsurprising in itself.

The Scottish media will simply see this as as something that will let them keep the Huns losing their league opener off the back pages.

Even if celtic were to say yes to this it still isn't possible. Celtic were seeded in the draw and legia wouldn't have been so a full new CL draw would need to be done and this deffo won't happen

    * these dafties have really lost the plot now! No wonder they got papped out they clearly don't have a scobby about how football works in the slightest! Think the Legia chairman must have been on here over the weekend and now believes that pedro really is running Uefa and can turn what would be nothing more than a friendly game into some sort of winner takes all uefa champions league super play off match! * clueless and now they look totally classless! hahaha

U.E.F.A are going to stand back and let teams make up there own rules and disreguard uefa rulings.

Well, actually the UEFA decision was criticised strongly in Norway, Spain, Portugal, Turkey (that's the press news I read myself) and probably all over Europe, so hopefully it won't be forgotten that easily and the rules will be changed, so that in the future no club will have to face such a harsh punishment as Legia did.

I accept that Legia broke the rule and was punished according to the rulebook, but in all fairness, the punishment was way too harsh (it's as if you punished somebody with publicly cutting off his * for * in the swimming pool--slightly disproportionate, I would say).

So, Celtic IN, Legia OUT--no doubt about it, but the law needs to be changed.

I disagree with this reputation thing. Since Friday morning i have spoken to plenty of English fans from man u n Liverpool fans to York City and Darlo fans. All think we were lucky but none see that we have done anything wrong n think the idea of stepping aside is absurd and a non starter. Can't see the fans of the teams we always get in the cl like Barca n Benfica n their fans being that bothered. The only damage to our reputation was done on the pitch all the stuff after will have * all affect on what anyone thinks of us.

Law is fine the way it is - teams just simply must make sure they don't field suspended players. Simple as that I'm afraid.

Don't get me wrong I feel for Legia but UEFA's rules not ours and the Legia chairman trying to make us look like the bad guys is just ridiculous.

That's just desperate sounding now and them trying to spin it and make us look bad.

Even if Celtic did agree, UEFA wouldn't allow the game to go ahead or honour the result.

Completely pointless and stirring up unnecessary *.
