Would expect us to play much the same lineup as in the St Johnstone game, though I must admit I'm still unsure over Nir Biton. Would consider Ambrose in front of the back 4.

for all of you saying I should consider us being favourites cuz I think we're better than legia.. it's a new game guys. anything can happen. and, celtic name means something in europe. we've been * over again and again because we're a small club in europe. not saying u will have ref protection, but in doubtful situations it happens. plus I kinda don't want us to be favs, we always play better as underdogs

could Virgil play up front for us if we don't sign a striker?

i read somewhere he started out as a striker, our defence so far has been pretty poor and i would be reluctant to move him.

In saying that ... we need someone who can head the ball to lead the line. Do we have enough cover at the back to risk VVD playing up front in return leg (or at some other point in the season).

I quite liked the guy Berget the other night but just thought i would ask about VVD if he really did start out as a striker

 

No. But it isn't as mental as it might initially sound. I'm sure every time Lennon threw him up front last season he was impressive. Wouldn't mind it in the last 10 minutes or so if we were chasing a game.
