I assume all UEFA member clubs are duty bound to abide by UEFA rules and any failure to do so wouldn't be looked on favourably. So for us to say 'thanks but no thanks' wouldn't wash. In fact your post is total nonsense. We did not make up the rules, it is not our responsibility to enforce the rules and if any other club was the beneficiary they wouldn't think twice. If they named him in the squad, then he could have started
the game or been on within 2 mins.
The fact they had already won the tie when he came on

Please explain how what happened is an injustice. They broke a clearly stated rule, and received the clearly stated punishment. Whether the guy played 180 minutes or 5 minutes he hadn't served his ban and he wasn't allowed to play.
