Pogba was superb for Juve tonight. Numerous times he burst a gut after going forward to win the ball back. Gave Barcelona a sore time with his strong running, used the ball well and always looking to go forward.

Tried everything in his power to make the difference tonight. Gave Alves plenty to think about.

He's a big basketball fan and that ritual is popular back in the US after winning a title, particularly on the collegiate level...Also cut down the nets after the CL Final in Rome & Wembley, as well

What a satisfaction for Luis Enrique. Lots of people were having some doubts around christmas time and some even wanted him sacked.

Now he's reconquered the throne. Barca were such a joy to watch this year and a worthy winner.

Never thought Suarez, Messi and Neymar would gel that well. What an awesome time to be a football fan.

Was a decent game. Not as good as I was hoping. Juve didn't create much and Barcas deadly front 3 weren't at their usaul.

I don't get the it was a poor game comments. In what way was the game poor??

You had Barcelona dominating the opening 15 mins, knocking the ball about and creating chances. Buffon made two superb saves in that time and Juventus had a couple of half chances through applying pressure. The rest of the 1st half was in Barcelona's favour. Plus how can you not enjoy * like Evra and Lichsteiner getting a hard time of it.

2nd half was almost a reverse. Juventus became more influential, created some opportunities and eventually equalised. During that period Barcelona had 2 or 3 breakaways, Pique was forward for nearly every one of them. Suarez got Barcelona in front when Juventus were strong. Even the extra official got involved with the Neymar disallowed goal( I thought it was harsh, although Neymar's timing was all out). Neymar redeemed himself with a well taken match winner, his 1st touch from the through ball was quality. Aside from the big moments, some great moments of individual ability. Iniesta with a fine pass through 5 bodies whilst facing in the opposite direction, it was inches from being an outstanding assist for Suarez. Pirlo played a peach of a cross field pass for Pogba at one point and Pogba himself, with some powerful running.

I understand it wasn't Barcelona tearing the opposition a "new one" and Messi never ran riot on numerous occasions. That is the standard they've set over the years, but to expect that every game takes a lot. It could have possibly happened after going 1 up so early. You have to credit Juventus for digging in and not allowing that to happen.

Been saying for a while that Vidal and Pogba are massively over rated but Pogba actually impressed me last night. Thought he had a really good game.

Vidal was pish. Seemed to be trying to get himself off in the first 20 as well.

Always liked Vidal but thought he didn't do much last night except being a * and kicking everybody all over the place.
