Did you just say Legia were ordinary?:smiley-laughing002: There performance last night wasn't ordinary it was excellent.

Some of there forwards have more skill and technique in there wee toe than our forward players have in both feet. They really did run rings around us.

They aren't ordinary that's what Aberdeen are. Legia are much better than Aberdeen are so a good side would be fair to say.

We'll turn it around next that I have no doubt, but on there performance last night, sometimes you just have to give credit where credit is due50:

If he's fit then yes i'd also like to see him play but can't see him being rushed back even for 30 minutes and then out again for months.

Our attacking options are pretty limited and although it is a concern with a bit of luck and belief I hope we can overturn this tie in our favour.

I will allow myself the audacity of disagreeing with you, mate.

Legia's passing severly lacks precision, the finishing is atrocious, they (especially Zyro) kept getting caught off-side, physically they are still far from top form, the defence doesn't look good at all--I could go on.

The game yesterday was not about Legia having an excellent game, far from it, it was about Celtic playing extremely badly.

I remember Celtic with Boruc, Hartson, Zurawski, Petrov, McGeady and Maloney--they were a joy to watch. Your current team seems to be much weaker.

Insider information???? I never knew Lenny was leaving, but I found out afterwards the reason why.

If your bookie accepts bets after the events have happened let me know his address, he must be as stupid as you!!!!!!:smiley-laughing002:

Id be alot more confident in the team if forrest was back atleast then we have a spark someone who if you give the ball to him there's a good chance * make a chance out of it.
Well need plenty of chances on Wednesday because were lacjing a clinical finisher as griffiths is the closest thing we have and he isn't proven in europe

    I'm not picky.
Here it is and you're right - it was an abysmal decision. The guy felt Mulgrews hand and he fell back like he'd ran into a wall.

3-0 is far from impossible, but most the players are going to have to have the game of their lives, IMO I didn't think Kayal did much wrong when he came on, but seems to be getting pelters? Anyway, this is the team I'd go with:

    Forster

    Matthews Mulgrew VVD Izzy

    Kayal Johansen

    Griffiths Commons McGregor

    Stokes

If by the small chance we do get through, Lawell would want to get the * finger out and invest in a new CB, 2 new wingers and a new striker worth between 3-5 million.

Hail Hail keep the faith :shamrock:

For those who are in love.....
If he's still half crocked then he won't but if he's been ok in training and just lacking match sharpness now then i can see him featuring.. He could be our saving grace next week as like you say our attacking options are(lets be blunt) poor, definitely on a European front..

There was many decisions i was scratching my head at last night, possibly the most bizarre was sticking commons up top on his own..
A guy with no pace, one of our smallest players who i have.never seen play that lone role(because he can't).. It was bizarre, down to ten, punting long.balls in his direction that he was winning fuckall of, it was baffling, you need someone that can challenge in the air and.hold it up or run in to the big gaps they had behind..

Pukki or griffiths could have done that role much better at the.switch even though both didn't do much in the game..
It was no coincidence that they were high up and all over us at that point as commons was absolutely no threat to them in that position, hence the all out attack they then placed on us..

We were bad all over the park, that's not up for debate and they did there homework, we made it extremely easy.for them though in every aspect last night..

Agree with most of that but I'd stick Lustig in at centre-back. I never want to see Mulgrew in a European game again. He is woeful.

sorry mate thats the formation we played last night and it failed spectacularly they pressed mulgrew and he couldnt handle it

and mulgrew at the back was how we were so * at the back in the 2nd half last night

him and ambrose had nightmare performances and the rest of the team just wilted under the pressure
